I have for sale a 67 cj5 jeep. This jeep has been babied all its life. It came from eastern Oregon where it is high and dry. It was owned by an older jeep enthusiast that went completely through the entire jeep. rebuilt original dauntless 225 v6 as well as entire rest of drivetrain. Less that 5,000 miles since restoration. All  new paint inside and out and underneath. No undercoating to hide things here!Highly detailed body and frame and suspention! Stock dash, gauges ect. Has very nice custom swing out tire carrier and rear bumper with flush tail lights. Has diamond plate rear corners but it is dent free behind them they just put them on to cover up where the stock taillights go as they are now flush mounted in the bumper.  They are not hiding anything else! Body is excellent with no dings or dents .All seats redone. Comes with a bikini top as well as a newer full soft top. Beautiful little jeep . You'll love it!!

Maserati Levante crossover not Jeep based after all?

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Maserati has been teasing its crossover project since 2011, which is when it first showed off the Kubang concept (pictured above). Still, the production version, rumored to be called the Levante, remains a complete mystery. The CUV was first rumored to borrow the platform from the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but new rumors indicate that the Italian, luxury crossover might actually take the underpinnings from the Quattroporte and Ghibli.
In a brief interview, Maserati CEO Harald Wester told CNN Money that the Levante wouldn't use Jeep's platform. Motor Trend spoke with an unnamed Maserati engineer who confirmed the rumor. Officially, the company says that no decision has been made.
We can add this to another long list of rumors about the Italian CUV. It was originally supposed to be built at Chrysler's Jefferson North assembly plant in Detroit. Then, plans were changed to build it in Italy.

While these are some of our favorites, Mopar is bringing plenty to SEMA, so let us know your top choices in the comments section.

2014 Jeep Cherokee configurator up and running

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Production delays aside, Jeep is steaming towards its September on-sale date for the 2014 Cherokee. The reborn midsizer's configurator has just gone live, meaning you can fiddle with different options, colors and trim levels to your heart's content.
The cheapest model available is the 4X2 Sport, which starts at a reasonable $22,995. On the high end, the Cherokee's builder allowed us to indulge our passion for ludicrously priced vehicles by outfitting the top-end Trailhawk, which already starts at $29,495, with $8,610 in options. The resulting car, which you can see above, would retail for $39,100 after the $995 destination is factored in.
Head on over to Jeep's build-it-yourself website and have a look around.
