Up for sale is an immaculate 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This Wagoneer was one of the first and most successful SUV's of it's kind. It's comfort, smooth ride and ability to haul more cargo and passengers in comfort was a huge part of it's record setting sales.
The Grand Wagoneer sported luxury, reliability and all wheel drive in an already well represented line of cars with American Motors Corp.
This Jeep has a reportedly 47,761 actual miles but is unverifiable. It is nearly new looking and driving. It runs and drives every bit as good as it looks. The seats, carpet, dash, glass, headliner and all other aspects of the car are in excellent condition.
The engine and transmission run and shift efficiently and as designed. The 4 wheel drive works great. There is no smoke, leaks or rust of any kind anywhere in the car.
This Jeep can be driven anywhere and comes with a clean, clear Calif. title. It has always been in the central valley of California.
The tires are about 80%, the brakes are near new. All the electrical components are working as they were expected. The A/C blows cold and the heater works great.
The undercarriage is clean and without any evidence of misuse or collision. There is no bondo anywhere on the car. It is rock solid.
Please email or call 530-519-2195 with any questions. It is for sale locally and can be removed at any time. A deposit is required immediately after purchase. I can store the car inside for a reasonable amount of time without cost. I will assist in shipping all I can but the cost is with the buyer.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel and SRT climb onto stage
Mon, 14 Jan 2013This is indeed a case of not knowing how much we wanted something until it arrived. We've been big fans of the Jeep Grand Cherokee ever since the new model arrived a couple of years ago, and while the update you see here might seem just a slight refresh, it's actually much more than that.
For starters, the 2014 Grand Cherokee marks the return of a diesel model here in the States, with Chrysler's new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 under the hood, churning out 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Of course, all of the Grand Cherokee's usual off-road goodies are on hand, with moderate tweaks to make it an even more capable vehicle when the going gets rough. Both the gasoline-fed 3.6-liter V6 and 5.7-liter V8 get the new eight-speed auto, as well.
The high-performance Grand Cherokee SRT also trudges on into the new model year, with very subtle tweaks found underneath the aggressive, slightly redesigned sheetmetal. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 also gets eight-speed gearing, which Chrysler says will improve not only 0-60 times, but mid-range performance as well. Bring it on, we say.
Millionth Jeep Wrangler JK to roll off line this morning
Fri, 17 May 2013According to a report on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page and one fairly grainy image of the production line, at around 11:00AM Eastern this morning, the one-millionth Jeep Wrangler JK will roll out of the company's Toledo assembly plant.
The third-generation or "JK" Jeep Wrangler has been around since the 2007 model year, and has obviously been more popular than ever. With a greater than ever number of trim levels, two-door and four-door Unlimited models and hardy off-roading Rubicon packages, the JK offers more to choose from than ever for those looking for something in a traditional Jeep. In fact, with the modern 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powering it, the 2012 model year saw more than 140k Wrangers sold here in the US; the best-ever figure for the model.
With a model refresh due out for the Wrangler in 2015 (along with the likely addition of a diesel engine option), we expect that sales will continue to roll right along, too.
Jeep going bigger with new Grand Wagoneer, smaller with sub-Renegade?
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The headlines are still rolling in for the new Renegade that Jeep unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but already reports are surfacing, citing sources within the company, about what Chrysler's iconic off-road brand will do next.
Speaking with Auto Express (whose reports we tend to take with a grain of salt or two), Jeep chief Mike Manley suggested that two courses of action are currently under consideration at Auburn Hills to develop two very different new models - one smaller and one larger than anything Jeep currently makes.
One plan would be to make an SUV or crossover even smaller than the new Renegade, although it isn't immediately clear what platform it would take. The Renegade (pictured above in Trailhawk spec) will be built in Italy alongside Fiat's upcoming 500X, but uses a heavily modified platform. We figure the smaller model, if approved, could base itself on the new Fiat Panda Cross.
