Hello and thanks for viewing,

For sale:

2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, special Arctic Edition. This was only available in 2012's model year for a very limited run. In case you don't know, they're hard to find at all and nearly impossible to find in this perfect condition. It's in absolutely beautiful condition. The dark tint is factory and looks awesome. The black 17" powder coated wheels are part of the option package as well. The seats have special embroidery that is very unique as well. The dash and door panels have white accents that are a really cool touch. It has the factory yeti footprint decals on the hood and fender. The gauge cluster also has the yeti graphics. It's all really cool and adds a custom touch you won't see when you pull up next to another Jeep.

The hard top comes off in three pieces. It has only been off once to our knowledge.

The oil in it is fresh. The tires are excellent. Every single thing on it functions as new. The Sirius satellite radio is great, the in dash unit has a hard drive for music storage. There are several auxiliary hookups to the in dash unit. The A/C blows ice cold. AC power outlet works. Heated seats toast your buns. 4wd works as it should in both the high and low ranges. All the power options work exactly as they should. There is absolutely not a single issue with this vehicle, it is as new. Roughly 23,260 miles, I listed it as 23,300 and also used this figure for the KBB and NADA price calculations. The only reason for this sale is a divorce. I have possession of the title and it is clear. The price is so low because I'm just looking to cover the loan buyout cost and move on with life.

NADA price estimate with these features (not including the $3000 Arctic package) is $37,500 for "clean retail" condition.

Kelley Blue Book value for excellent condition retail is $36,519.

Asking price is pretty firm at $34,495

Feel free to call and set up a time to come see it in person. I'd prefer that. I wanted to set this ad up as a classified listing, I'm not sure what happened to the category. It will not be shipped and will only be sold locally.
Please call 330-424-9740 and come look at it and talk before ending my listing. Feel free to ask any questions either on eBay or by calling. You're more than welcome to bring a mechanic or some sort of professional you trust to come check it out as well. I'm certain anyone will find it to be stellar.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.

2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

There will forever be a soft spot in my heart for the Jeep Wrangler. The last one I owned was red, and, as a 1990 model, had the square headlights derided by Jeep enthusiasts who grew up on the Civilian Jeeps that descended from their General Purpose military ancestors. As a teenager, I couldn't have cared less what shape its headlights happened to be - to me, a Jeep Wrangler represented freedom; a carefree do-it-all machine equally at home with the top stowed away in the summer or with the heater on full blast in the snowy clutches of Old Man Winter. In Dr. Seuss parlance, my square-headlighted Sneetch was just as worthy as any round-headlighted Sneetch.
All that said, I'll be the first person to advise against buying a Jeep Wrangler of any sort for owners who don't plan to use it as its makers intend. There's no good reason to punish yourself with a stiff and springy ride, a loud and somewhat drafty (though generally water-resistant) interior or the poor fuel economy expected of a block-shaped vehicle if you don't enjoy its other, more exciting benefits.
Of course, Jeep has done its darndest over the years to make the Wrangler as civilized as possible while keeping it as capable as federal law will allow. The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab edition is one of Jeep's latest attempts to attract attention from the upper reaches of the active lifestyle set, and I spent a week with one to see what makes the Moab special.

Chrysler extending production of current Dodge Avenger, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Caravan

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Are you hesitant to pull the trigger on a brand new Dodge Avenger in hopes that a new one will be coming? Well, don't hold your breath. According to The Detroit News, Chrysler will be extending production of the current Avenger sedan through the end of 2015.
Originally, we heard that the company would kill the Avenger to better focus its midsize sedan efforts on the Chrysler 200 replacement. But then new reports stated there would indeed be an Avenger successor, and that we could see it as early as next January. This Detroit News report cites supplier sources confirming the extension of Avenger production, though Chrysler has not released an official statement on the matter.
These same suppliers say that the current Jeep Wrangler will live on through mid-2018 - that's right, another five years. The Detroit News reports that a replacement for the iconic, go-anywhere Jeep was due in mid-2016.
