The engine and tranfer case are the only components that have mileage. Everything else on the jeep is either rebuilt or is new. Only 200 miles. Beefed up 700 R-4 Trany with TCI shifter. New brakes, rotors, and calipers. GMC 1-ton running gears. Interior skin sprayed with lizard skin and painted Camo tan. Swamper TSL's 39.5-15-16.5 on steel wheels. 1-ton steering components. Be cool aluminum radiator, B&M supercooler trany cooler. 7 in. wide fender flares. Painless wiring harness- professionlly wired. 20 gallon Poly fuel cell. Complete, new, heat unit assembly. Electric fuel pump and fan. Factory dash, some of the electric gauges work, others I have installed mechanical. An inside look at Mopar's SEMA fleet

Jeep's new Chip Away commercial has us hunting Al Pacino's back catalog
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Chrysler has done a pretty good job as of late turning its television commercials into pep talks or rallying cries, but for its first ad for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it turned to Al Pacino's inspirational speech from the movie Any Given Sunday. In the movie, Pacino's character talks about how football is a game of inches, but the commercial, titled Chip Away, focuses more on the attention to detail that Jeep has exhibited on its updated flagship SUV.
Centering around the newest Grand Cherokee model, the luxurious $47,995 Summit trim level, the commercial shows off some of the hand-stitched leathers and real metal and wood accents found inside the cabin. Check out the new 60-second spot by scrolling below.
Australian Jeep marketing stunt goes awry [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Jeep fans in Australia are none too happy with the off-road brand following a contest that saw ten new Cherokees sold for just $10,000 Australian (about $9,400), roughly a quarter of the vehicle's price Down Under.
The contest, called the "World's Most Remote Dealership," gave Aussies the chance to snag an ultra-affordable Cherokee Longitude (analogous to the US-spec Latitude trim), provided they could get to a secret dealership in the remote wilderness of western New South Wales, near the border with the state of South Australia.
In order to get the exact location of the dealership, though, potential customers needed to download an app, which would release a phone number 9:00 AM AEST on Thursday (7:00 PM EDT, Wednesday night). The first ten people who could call in and prove they could afford to finance $10,000 and get to the remote dealership, were given the location of the remote dealership.
