Please read the whole description, thank you..... Insurance Liquidation, Vehicle had light water damage. This Jeep came to us running and driving. It does not show any signs that water got inside the vehicle, everything operates and functions as it is supposed to. The Jeep is in very good condition. The airbags did not deploy. This vehicle has the normal scratches, nicks and door dings that would be found on any vehicle of this age. The title will be a PA reconstructed title. This Jeep can be titled and insured in all states. You can drive the vehicle home on a transit/temp tag. Please check with your states DMV to see if there are any additional titling requirements. The owner was paid by the insurance company for the Jeep, the Jeep then belonged to the insurance company, which is where we come in. By Pennsylvania law any vehicle that has been paid off by an insurance company must get a salvage title, No matter how minor the damage is. This Jeep has went through the Pennsylvania Enhanced Inspection Process and the title has been converted to a standard title that is branded reconstructed. The title is also listed as not actual miles because the insurance company did not have the keys for the vehicle to get a reading from the digital dash at the time the title was processed. Black exterior with Tan cloth interior, Economical 2.5 4 cylinder engine, Automatic Transmission, Shift on the go 4 Wheel Drive, Power Steering and Power Brakes, ABS, Intermitent Wipers, There is no stereo, the factory radio harness and plugs are there as well as the factory soundbar with upgraded speakers and the speaker in the center console, you can get a replacement factory stereo for less than $50(almost any 1997-01 Chrysler stereo will fit). Tan Soft Top with Factory Half Doors, Soft Top is in very good condition with no tears, rips or fraying, the windows do have some clouding to them. There is a lightbar on top of the Jeep with 4 BRAND NEW offroad lights and another lightbar on the front bumper with 2 more BRAND NEW Fog/Driving lights, the lights are not wired yet and there is wiring in the engine compartment that appears to be for the lights as well as multiple lighted switches on the dash, the value of these lightbars and lights is probily about $400. Almost NEW 31/10.50-15 Maxxis MT-754 Buckshot Mudder Tires(these tires are about $170 each) on Black Soft 8 Style Wheels. Suspension Lift, Class 3 Tow Receiver. Runs and looks very good. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to finish this Jeep at a very reasonable price, the NADA average retail is about $8000 without counting allowences for the low miles and the custom options, this reserve on this Jeep is well below that price.

Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition coming to America

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Jeep originally took the wraps off its Polar Edition Wrangler at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and at the time, we figured this would be a Europe-only affair. (Perfectly fine, since we US customers haven't exactly been lacking special edition Wrangler models over the years.) But now, and as Jeep says, just in time for winter, the automaker has announced that the ice cold Wrangler will be hitting North American showrooms in November.
Based on the Wrangler Sahara model, the Polar Edition can be had in either two- or four-door body styles, with a unique Hydro Blue paint job as the featured color. (Buyers can also opt for less-special Billet Silver and Bright White hues.) Other exterior enhancements include a body-colored hardtop, 18-inch gloss black wheels, the Powerdome (power bulge) hood, and unique decals all around the body.
But the Polar Edition isn't just about some paint and stickers. Jeep has fitted this Wrangler with a Dana 30 front axle and Dan 44 rear axle, as well as the Trac-Lok anti-spin electronic rear differential. Like all US-spec Wranglers, the Polar Edition uses Jeep's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, producing 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Both a six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmission are available.

Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.

Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver is a more rugged Trailhawk

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We briefly mentioned the Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver that was heading to SEMA last week when discussing the Mopar lineup set to be shown in Las Vegas. At the time, though, we weren't able to dive too deeply into details. But with SEMA in full swing, we were able to sneak over and grab some snaps of one of the first modified Cherokees we've seen. The Cherokee is, after all, kind of an unknown quantity in the modification department, being so new and featuring such a polarizing design. We were quite interested to see what Mopar could come up with.
Starting with the Trailhawk 4x4 and its 3.2-liter V6, the engine is fitted with a Mopar cold-air intake and a new exhaust, although it's not clear what sort of power boost has resulted. We'll admit, we were hoping Jeep and Mopar would get a bit more aggressive with the Cherokee's suspension (has anyone thrown a few-inch lift on the new Jeep yet?), but there's no mention of upgrades beyond the knobby, off-road tires. Those should do some good when the going gets rough, while rock rails are there to protect the Auburn Pearl paint on the body.
Speaking of that paint, it's complemented by an interesting graphics package in contrasting black and Crush Orange. The cabin sports Katzkin Amaretto leather seats, along with tech-friendly items like a wireless charging system for cellphones and wireless internet.
