2008 Lexus Is250 Awd Sedan on 2040-cars
Tipp City, Ohio, United States
My wife and I bought this car about two years ago it had 27K miles on it then. The majority of the driving on it has been highway miles. Both of us commute from North Dayton to South Dayton Monday through Friday. We have never had any problems with this vehicle. This is a great entry level Lexus with a lot of life left in it. It is AWD so it does great in the winter snow and ice. We just put brand new $850 Pirelli P7s on it last spring from Tire Discounter, so there is lifetime rotation and balancing that comes with them. Also, there is a lifetime warranty on the brakes from Autozone. The car has sunroof, heated seats, CD player, AUX hookup for your Iphone/MP3 player, push start, keyless entry, 6-speed automatic transmission. I've been averaging about 27-28 MPG on the highway. I just put brand new windshield wipers on it and had the oil changed and it has a full tank of gas in it... its all ready for the next owner. Why pay retail at the dealership?? To much to tell and the pictures don't do it justice.

Lexus RC F and SI swimsuit model Lisalla Montenegro compare flowing lines
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Lexus has been desperate to break out of its decidedly boring image for years. There is no doubt that it has made quality cars, but many of them have lacked for excitement. But with the new RC in 2014, especially the M4-fighting RC F version, it might finally turn some heads.
If the car doesn't turn heads, Lexus can at least be sure that Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Lisalla Montenegro will, in its latest video. Of course, phrases like, "Hair by over 383 pound-feet of torque," and, "Goosebumps by an aggressively tuned exhaust note," don't really mean anything, but most of the people watching the video aren't going to be reading the copy, anyway. Instead, they will either be focused on the attractive woman or the cool car. Maybe both. Scroll down to check out the video.
Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
Lexus LF-C2 Concept shows polarizing looks are here to stay
Wed, 19 Nov 2014Well, that's one question answered. When Lexus released the first teaser for its LF-C2 Concept, we figured it'd be one of two things - either it'd be a convertible based on the LF-LC Concept car or it'd be a thinly veiled concept version of the RC Convertible. Turns out, it's kind of both.
The LF-LC styling straddles the wilder, concepty looks of the LF-LC and the still wild, but more grounded, looks of the RC. That doesn't mean it's not a polarizing piece of design, with Lexus styling trademarks like the dominating spindle grille and separate LED running lights. Lexus' knife-edge cuts and folds in the bodywork have been toned down relative to past concepts, but the overall look here, particularly in the rear fenders, is rather busy.
"The LF-C2 concept shows what's in store for our brand's future design direction," Lexus boss Jeff Bracken said. "This concept shows consumers around the world Lexus' devotion to emotional designs as well as our passion for an exceptional driving experience."
