You are bidding on a 2011 Lexus RX 450H. This is a non smoker one owner  Hybrid vehicle in like new condition with only 17,000 miles. The interior is perfect with no marks or smells. The exterior is in excellent condition, the body is free of scratches, however it does have 2 small dings that I tried to photograph so you can see how minor they are, the hood has a few very slight and soft dents due to a box falling on it in the garage. The car has a clean Car Fax and has never been in an accident or had any body panels painted. All 4 wheels are in perfect condition with NO curb rash. This car was not used to transport kids, the back seat has rarely if ever been used and that includes the cargo area. All systems work as intended and the vehicle has the remainder of the 4 year 50,000 Lexus factory warranty. This Lexus has the following options Heated and Vented Seats, Keyless Entry and Keyless Start, Navigation, Rear Camera, Rear Power Close Gate, Bi Xenon Headlights, Roof Rails, 6 Disc Changer, All Wheel Drive, Sunroof, Computer connections in center console, Bluetooth, Leather seats. The car comes with all Books and Keys. The vehicle is priced to sell well below the KBB private party value. The reason for selling is the purchase of a new car. I will entertain offers prior to the end of auction, the vehicle is for sale locally and I do reserve the right to end auction early. If you are in the market for an RX you will not find a nicer one at a better price. I have a 100 per cent feedback rating  and have sold many high end cars out of my collection in the past. All questions will be answered quickly.

2013 Lexus LS460 F-Sport AWD

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

Gary Approved
There's a guy that goes to my gym who can't get enough of the Lexus LS - let's call him Gary. Gary's the guy - you've probably got one at your gym, or coffee shop, or some other public but quasi-social location - who talks to everyone he meets. Sit next to him on the rowing machine or run by him on the track, and he's almost certainly going to bend your ear for a minute or 20. Gary is in his mid-60s, a business owner, and the super-proud owner of a 2013 Lexus LS.
Not being a shy man, Gary will be the first one to tell you that he didn't do much comparative shopping (he "drove by" the BMW dealership, and looked at a 7 Series "on the computer"). Being a satisfied former owner of multiple Lexus RXs, there was probably only a tiny statistical chance that Gary wouldn't end up in an LS when it came time for him to treat himself to the tricked out luxury car that he'd wanted for a long time. Still, when I found myself chatting with Gary about his new LS, right after I had spent a wintry week in the 2013 LS460 F-Sport AWD, I figured that he'd have some light to shed on the car.

Lexus LF-C2 Concept shows polarizing looks are here to stay

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

Well, that's one question answered. When Lexus released the first teaser for its LF-C2 Concept, we figured it'd be one of two things - either it'd be a convertible based on the LF-LC Concept car or it'd be a thinly veiled concept version of the RC Convertible. Turns out, it's kind of both.
The LF-LC styling straddles the wilder, concepty looks of the LF-LC and the still wild, but more grounded, looks of the RC. That doesn't mean it's not a polarizing piece of design, with Lexus styling trademarks like the dominating spindle grille and separate LED running lights. Lexus' knife-edge cuts and folds in the bodywork have been toned down relative to past concepts, but the overall look here, particularly in the rear fenders, is rather busy.
"The LF-C2 concept shows what's in store for our brand's future design direction," Lexus boss Jeff Bracken said. "This concept shows consumers around the world Lexus' devotion to emotional designs as well as our passion for an exceptional driving experience."

Consumer Reports says infotainment systems 'growing first-year reliability plague'

Mon, 27 Oct 2014

The Consumer Reports Annual Auto Reliability Survey (right) is out, and the top two spots look much the same as last year's list with Lexus and Toyota in first and second place, respectively. However, there are some major shakeups for 2014, with Acura plunging eight spots from third in 2013 to 11th this year, and Mazda replaces it on the lowest step of the podium. Honda and Audi round out the top five. This year's list includes six Japanese brands in the top 10, two Europeans, one America and one Korean.
Acura isn't the only one taking a tumble, though. Infiniti is the biggest loser this year by dropping 14 spots to 20th place. Other big losses come from Mercedes-Benz with an 11-place fall to 24th, and GMC, which declines 10 positions to 19th.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's not traditional mechanical bugs hauling down these automaker's reliability scores. Instead, pesky problems with infotainment systems are taking a series toll on the rankings. According to Consumer Reports, complaints about "in-car electronics" were the most grumbled about element in new cars. Problem areas included things like unresponsive touchscreens, issues pairing phones and multi-use controllers that refused to work right.
