1956 Mark II Complete Project Car with Factory Air (Parts Car Included)

**I have recently reduced the price. We have three cars in a lot and are taking parts from each to make one the best possible. Please call me for more information at (301) 672-1000.**

All rare parts will come with this car, it just needs to be restored and put together. Once that is done, this car would be 98% complete. I do have the title for both of the cars. I purchased a package of parts, and there are enough parts for 3 cars. We have a burgundy Mark II that is the best car out of the 3 others in the lot. I am planning on giving it all of the best parts. The parts car I am using has a good windshield and untouched stainless trim. The other car you see in primer is not in the deal.

The cars can be stored for free for 60 days.

Call for more information at (301) 672-1000

Key Points about this Car:

  • Factory A/C; Complete parts, and the parts car also has A/C.
  • It has the correct motor which turns freely and may run. The parts car also has an engine and transmission.
  • This car has a good headliner
  • The seats are okay for a driver
  • Clear title
  • The burgundy repaint is 15 years old, so it will need to be repainted.
  • Correct wiper arms and all wiper parts
  • Correct jack
  • Correct radio
  • Set of 4 hubcaps will be included that are very nice, and a spare parts hubcap.
  • There is no key for this car.
  • The bumpers need to be plated, they are not shiny.
  • On the best car, the gas door has a broken pot metal on the hinge.
  • The lenses have blemishes, and they are not new.
  • A packing list with all parts will be provided and some will be shrink wrapped.
  • 4 piece rocker trim included
  • Nice head light rings included
  • Nice front grill included.
  • There are some rust holes by driver's side floorboard by the gas pedal, but never patched.

I cannot guarantee that you will have every single nut and bolt for this car, but I am aware of the rare parts on this car. They will be included. There is also the parts car (with title included) if you would like. I also have another Mark II parts car with A/C in my yard located in Maryland. You will have to source the reproduction parts yourself. You may still want to upgrade the parts that come with the car with a reproduction part. Unfortunately, this car is a basket case, but there are very few of these left to restore. That is why I purchased this collection. I have a '57 and '56 Continental and I understand how important it is to get a complete car. I may be able to deliver this car to your door as well. Please call (301) 672-1000 for more information on delivery locations.

2013 Lincoln MKZ [w/video]

Rebranding When Reinvention Is Requisite
Lincoln - pardon us, the Lincoln Motor Company - assures us that Ford is committed to its success. The awkwardness of the statement (which feels vaguely like your mother telling you that she loves and supports you regardless of what everyone else thinks) was hard to escape when we recently spent a few days with the all-new second-generation 2013 Lincoln MKZ.
Launched earlier this year at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the MKZ is a midsize premium sedan that shares platforms with the Ford Fusion (also all-new for 2013). The sedan's primary competitors, according to Lincoln, include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Cadillac CTS and Lexus ES Series sedans - each an established, accomplished player.

Lincoln trumpets $129M investment, 300 new jobs in Louisville for MKC

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Remember when we used to talk about how close Lincoln was to being axed and how it seemed any day now the Grim Reaper would use it as a car service back to the grave? Last time we did it was, oh, not even a month ago. What a difference 27 days makes: Ford and Lincoln are trumpeting a $129M investment in the Louisville Assembly Plant that builds the MKC.
In July the MKC was the third-best-selling Lincoln of the brand's six offerings, beat by the MKZ and - by a much smaller margin - the MKX. It has sold 2,895 units in the two months it's been on sale, which is more than half the year-to-date sales of the MKS, MKT and Navigator. It's already important, is what we're trying to say, and this is before the Chinese market gets a crack at it later this year.
The money headed to Kentucky will be joined by 300 new workers, another marker in Ford's march to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the US by next year. You can read more about it in the press release below.

Lincoln MKX Concept announces impending launch in China

Sun, 20 Apr 2014

Lincoln has finally dropped the details on the MKX Concept after a few days of teasing. Set for a very important global debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, we're going to have to see this conceptualized version of the third-generation MKX in person before we can draw any real conclusions on the effectiveness of its design.
One of the things Lincoln will need to do to succeed is deliver something to customers that's unique to the brand's vehicles, which are exclusively rebadged models from parent company Ford. We're not sure this is going to be distinctive enough.
Unlike its last new vehicle, the Navigator, the work done on the MKX is smooth and refined. The stance of the vehicle, with its 21-inch wheels, is aggressive enough. Viewed from the profile, the overhangs appear rather short, while character lines keep it from looking slabsided. In front, we might be witnessing the cleanest interpretation yet of Lincoln's twin grilles. The headlights are slim and stylish, and we're digging the shape and style of the mirrors, which feature integrated turn signals that outline the mirror cap.
