You are looking at a 1979 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe. Magnificently preserved in a garaged climate controlled enviorment. This car is an ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF AMERICA SENIOR NATIONAL AWARD WINNER. Also, LINCOLN AND CONTINENTAL OWNERS CLUB SENIOR NATIONAL AWARD WINNER, which scored a 99.62 out of 100 in 2013. This car is in outstnding condition and can be driven anywhere.

Mechanically, all fluids and maintenence have been performed regularly. This Lincoln can be driven anywhere with confidence. The car rides and drives the way a Lincoln should and as it did when it was born. The tires are relatively new and were put on by the previous owner. The exterior paint and chrome are in outstanding condition as well as the interior; it is very well preserved. This car is also a SMOKE-FREE car. The engine and chassis are detailed for show and this car can be taken to any car show with certainty. The trunk interior is excellent. The engine compartment and trunk all feature the yellow stampings from the factory.

The car boasts quite a few Lincoln features such as the RARE Town Coupe option. The seats are pillow soft as they are upgraded from the base model. The ride is ultra soft and floats down the highway. The chrome grill in front is like new. This car has been babied and well cared for its entire life.

I am currently the third owner of this vehicle. The previous owners kept up with all maintence and was very well taken care by them as well. The air conditioner has been replaced with NOS. A new battery was placed in it when I purchased the car by the previous owner. There is also a new exhaust system as well.

BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING IF THEY ARE NOT LOCAL. CAR IS SOLD AS IS/WHERE IS.

2013 Lincoln MKZ [w/video]

Rebranding When Reinvention Is Requisite
Lincoln - pardon us, the Lincoln Motor Company - assures us that Ford is committed to its success. The awkwardness of the statement (which feels vaguely like your mother telling you that she loves and supports you regardless of what everyone else thinks) was hard to escape when we recently spent a few days with the all-new second-generation 2013 Lincoln MKZ.
Launched earlier this year at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the MKZ is a midsize premium sedan that shares platforms with the Ford Fusion (also all-new for 2013). The sedan's primary competitors, according to Lincoln, include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Cadillac CTS and Lexus ES Series sedans - each an established, accomplished player.

Lincoln debuts MKC ads starring Matthew McConaughey

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

Lincoln is making the decisive commitment that it wants to improve its brand perception going forward. It can't be cheap to hire A-list talent like Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and director Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for Drive, for its new ad campaign for the 2015 MKC crossover, but the company is showing that it's serious about the new vehicle and its future. The first three of these five commercials are just hitting YouTube, and they begin airing on television on September 6.
The Live in Your Moment campaign is all about Lincoln trying to sell not just the MKC to customers but also explain the brand's philosophy. It's one of the oldest luxury automakers around, but hasn't exactly had a glorious history, especially recently. Based on these first ads, we can see that there's a definite focus on philosophizing rather than focusing on the crossover. At times, McConaughey seems just a mustache and a mangled beer can away from reprising his role from True Detective.
The first ad (above) is simply titled Intro and sets the mood and concept for the whole campaign. Bull has McConaughey talking to a longhorn in the middle of a road, and I Just Like It has him explaining his affinity for the brand. Lincoln's full release is available below, and you can view the other ads by flipping through the playlist in the video player above.

Lincoln and MKZ propose brand reinvention

Mon, 03 Dec 2012

Lincoln made a rather assertive statement about the future of its products at the 2012 LA Auto Show. Rather than put any new vehicle on display for the first press day, the American premium brand placed a collection of classic cars from its past on the show floor. For the second day, that assortment was replaced with more than a half-dozen examples of the all-new 2013 MKZ. Following that, Lincoln teased a new ad campaign that was in the works, and it appears we now have the first extended promotional video.
Entitled "The Lincoln Motor Company," the spot acts as more of a mission statement, rather than an ad, featuring (once again) cars from Lincoln's past, as well as certain bits of Americana usually reserved for a Levi's ad. The video concluded with Lincoln reintroducing itself to the world, accompanied by a new name: The Lincoln Motor Company.
The video is likely to be the first of many in a large advertising blitz by the automaker, in concert with the rolling-out of the new MKZ. The sedan was the only new vehicle featured in the video, and Lincoln is betting heavily on this "reinvention" to bring customers in to see its new sedan. We want to know what's next. Scroll down to watch the video.
