This car runs/drives fantastic!  It will snap your neck if you get on the gas!  I have a ton more pics at plus.google.com/u/0/photos/106533163191656663781/albums/6035246232177761409 if you're interested.

I had intended on keeping this car, but I've taken up a new hobby so this baby has to go!

I've priced this to sell - I could easily get $12K if I wanted to wait, lucky for you I don't.  This price is not negotiable so don't contact me with any "offers".  And if you click on "buy it now" and back out, you owe me $125, because that's what ebay will charge me for your mistake.

1. Engine was just overhauled by a reputable engine rebuilder and should last 250,000 miles +. I put a lot of high quality parts in that engine that will make it very reliable and POWERFUL!  It's dyno'd at the crank at 570 hp and 630 ft lbs of torque! I have the dyno results to prove it. I also have receipts of $5K for the engine work with the detailed list of all the parts.
2. A/C blows ICE COLD air! I just paid $1,700 to have it completely converted to R134a - new condenser, lines, rotary compressor, drier, expansion valve.
3. Car tracks true and rides like it should. I've replaced pretty much every front end component, all four coil springs, shocks, steering box, steering coupler and tires to get it this way.
4. Both power seats function perfectly.
5. Radio and antenna work great.
6. Clock keeps perfect time!
7. Alternator/charging system works great
8. Radiator has been cleaned/rodded out.
9. Exhaust manifolds have no gaskets - so no more blown gaskets to replace.
10. Power windows work great. (not the two little windows)
11. Transmission, rear-end, brakes, all in great shape.

That's the mechanical - on the body I got it in great shape. All I did was painstakingly get all the pieces necessary to put together four PERFECT hub caps!

The car also comes with:
1. Brand new $80 car cover
2. Complete set of factory manuals to include wiring diagrams.
3. Original air cleaner
4. A box of pieces/parts from the original owner.

Car is located in the San Antonio Texas area. I have contacts and can help arrange shipping, for US and overseas. I'm more than happy to have a PPI done at your expense if you wish.

Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.

Report: Lincoln getting all of Mercury's ad dollars

Mon, 03 Jan 2011

Now that the curtain has closed on Mercury, Ford Motor Company will redirect all of its marketing dollars for the oft-overlooked brand to the Blue Oval's luxury outpost, Lincoln. In speaking to Automotive News, the chairman of the Lincoln National Dealer Council, Bob Tasca, Jr., said, "You'll see a lot stronger presence in the advertising of Lincoln in 2011."
Lincoln spokesperson Christian Bokich reminded AN that the automaker is "preparing the way for seven new or significantly refreshed vehicles" that will be launched over the next four years, and the largest ad blitz in 2011 will focus on the refreshed MKX crossover, as well as the MKZ sedan and its hybrid counterpart. Following that, Lincoln has plans to launch a completely overhauled version of its Navigator SUV, an all-new C-segment vehicle and the overhauled 2013 MKZ, which Tasca says will be "strikingly different from its Ford Fusion sibling."

Lincoln says MKZ supply crisis over

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

After an excessive number of recalls on the 2013 Escape and Fusion, we can't really fault Ford for being a little extra cautious with the launch of the 2013 Lincoln MKZ. Last month, we reported that dealer supply of the car was extremely limited due to more attention being paid to quality checks of cars rolling off the assembly line, which led to a 73-percent drop in MKZ sales from last year on top of a 32-year low in monthly sales for Lincoln in January.
The reason for the delay was that the sedans were being shipped from the Hermosillo, Mexico assembly plant to be inspected even closer at Ford's Flat Rock, Michigan plant before they were able to head to dealers. Things seem to be straightening out for Lincoln and the MKZ's production now, as Automotive News is reporting that supply should be up to a "normal level" by the end of this month.
