1991 Lincoln Mark Vii Bill Blass Edition 5.0 V8 59,000 Low Miles!! on 2040-cars
Montague, New Jersey, United States
1991 Bill Blass Edition Lincoln Mark VII with 59,370 miles. This car is in almost great condition for its age. The air suspension in this car is in perfect working order and the bags show no signs of dry rot. The original window sticker shows all options and upgrades this car has gotten 25 mpg on the few long trips it has taken. The majority of the miles were put on in South Jersey and it was garage kept. Sticker price on this car as you can see was just shy of $31,000!!!!!! It has good tires brakes and all the suspension checks out good. The seats being platinum cloth held up great throughout the years and show no signs of wear. There is a small dent on top of the one door that can be seen in the pictures. The only rust happens to be right where the power antenna comes through the body. Another minor issue with the car is the dic (driver information center) is inoperative it could be a simple fix but it does not work at this time. I also recently installed a brand new Mega-tron plus Interstate battery. Please feel free to come look at this car in person at any time I can assure you this is the cleanest Mark VII on ebay. |

Matthew McConaughey dusts off his Lincoln Lawyer jacket [w/videos]
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Alright, alright, alright. Easygoing Texan Matthew McConaughey has enjoyed a career renaissance recently with critically acclaimed roles in Dallas Buyers Club and True Detective, and the actor has just signed a multi-year deal with Lincoln to become the luxury brand's spokesperson. The first ads starring McConaughey should hit televisions and the internet soon.
McConaughey's campaign has his pitching starting out with the company's pivotal new 2015 Lincoln MKC compact crossover. "Lincoln is an iconic, American brand and I like where they are heading with their transformation," he said in the announcement of the deal. The appears to be really throwing some money into these ads, too. Not only has it hired A-list talent in front of the camera, Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for Drive, is directing the spots.
Of course, this won't be McConaughey's first noteworthy ride in a Lincoln. Back in 2011, he starred in The Lincoln Lawyer, a legal thriller about at attorney would did business out of a 1980s Town Car. The MKC should certainly prove to be a much better driver than that.
Ford recalling select Taurus, Explorer and Lincoln MKS models over fuel tanks
Sun, 31 Mar 2013Ford is recalling certain 2012 Taurus, 2013 Explorer and 2012 Lincoln MKS models over fuel tank concerns. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, vehicles built between July 19, 2011 and March 15, 2012 may have been built with fuel tanks that have a "marginally sealed seam" on the side. Those seams may not provide the strength necessary to protect the tank from rupture during a collision. They may also leak. The recall covers a total of 3,037 vehicles. NHTSA says that leaked fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could easily cause a fire.
Dealers will inspect the tanks and replace them as need be free of charge. Owners can expect to be notified once the campaign begins on or around April 22, 2013. You can read the full NHTSA recall notice below for more information.
2013 Lincoln MKZ [w/video]
Fri, 07 Dec 2012Rebranding When Reinvention Is Requisite
Lincoln - pardon us, the Lincoln Motor Company - assures us that Ford is committed to its success. The awkwardness of the statement (which feels vaguely like your mother telling you that she loves and supports you regardless of what everyone else thinks) was hard to escape when we recently spent a few days with the all-new second-generation 2013 Lincoln MKZ.
Launched earlier this year at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the MKZ is a midsize premium sedan that shares platforms with the Ford Fusion (also all-new for 2013). The sedan's primary competitors, according to Lincoln, include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Cadillac CTS and Lexus ES Series sedans - each an established, accomplished player.
