1995 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series Congressional Town Sedan
This is a really nice, clean, well-kept car. I love driving this car. It has such a smooth, luxurious ride. It makes a great road car, and gets almost 20mpg on the highway. It is a low mileage vehicle for this age. It is driven almost daily when I am not traveling outside the country.
Paint and body are excellent. Notice the luxurious gold trim. Cloth top is excellent. Good leather interior; original engine is in good condition; original transmission is in good condition; lots of rubber on the white wall tires, and the cold A/C works great. I have had this car for several years, and I believe I am the third owner. The second owner kept it in excellent condition also.
I have had the transmission fluid changed, and oil is Castrol Synthetic 10w-30 with Slick 50 High Mileage additive to reduce oil consumption. With this combination it uses very little oil for a 200k engine. Oil has been kept changed very faithfully.
I have also had three electric windows rebuilt, all new air suspension components including bags, compressor and air valves. The previous owner had new brakes put on not long before I bought it. It has a good battery in it.
A very complete set of receipts of work done on the vehicle is in the glove compartment. It gives you a good history of the car. Call me if you have any questions: (817) 718-3118, Joshua, Texas 76058

Lincoln bringing in MKZ Hybrid over rollaway risk
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Federal safety standards require that every new car needs to have the brake depressed in order to shift it out of Park. But the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has found fault in the transmission range sensor on certain examples of the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, allowing the car to be shifted out of Park without first depressing the brake. The fear is that with this condition, affected vehicles may be unintentionally pulled out of Park, resulting in a possible rollaway. That safety concern has prompted parent Ford Motor Company to issue a recall.
The issue pertains to 7,153 examples of the MKZ Hybrid built between April 26, 2012 and September 24, 2013, covering the 2013 and 2014 model years. As a result, Ford will notify owners to bring their MKZs into their local Lincoln dealer to have the Powertrain Control Module software updated in order to rectify the problem. See the full recall notice below for details.
Lincoln's second, more traditional, Super Bowl commercial
Sat, 02 Feb 2013For its second Super Bowl commercial, Lincoln Motor Company has stepped away from the Max Ernst-ian surrealism of the "Steer the Script" spot. No Germans, no turtles, no aliens nor alpacas this time, just a 30-second run through the ways in which Lincoln sees the 2013 MKZ as a rebirth of the brand and everything a luxury consumer would want.
The kind of traditional spot that could run any time of year, the only question we had after watching it was: "Wait - was that... Abraham Lincoln?" Along with the press release from Lincoln, you can view the spot below.
If you want a deeper look and criticism into Lincoln's "Steer The Script," ad, have a read of AOL Autos' column: Lincoln's Super Bowl Ad is a Flop, written by Pete Bigelow.
Why Lincoln says it's loving Ellen and Conan MKC ad spoofs [w/videos]
Mon, 13 Oct 2014You would think that commercial being ridiculed across the Internet would be an advertising executive's worst nightmare, but that's not necessarily the case. At least not when it comes to Lincoln and its latest campaign to promote the new MKC.
The campaign features Matthew McConaughey channeling his characters from True Detective and The Lincoln Lawyer, and was quickly spoofed by both Conan O'Brien and Ellen DeGeneres. But instead of shaking their heads in dismay at the comedy talk-show hosts' take on their ad, Lincoln and its advertising firm Hudson Rouge welcome the free publicity.
"We're flattered. Just to get out into the public mind with parodies says you've achieved a certain amount of notoriety," Hudson Rouge CCO Jon Pearce told Automotive News. "It's hard to put a dollar amount on earned media. We couldn't ask for better."
