We got this car used back in Jan. 2009, it had 113311 miles on it. It has 130749 miles on it at the moment and it still runs great.

We are still using the car some, so the mileage is subject to change. Ask me the mileage and I will look for you.

My wife doesn't like to fly, so we have used this car for long road trips because it is very comfortable and has lots of trunk space.

Occasionaly we would make a trip to town and back to keep the battery up.

Most of the miles are highway miles put on it during vactions to TX, FL & SC.

We live outside of Nashville and like to stay where it is warm so we haven't driven the car on the salty roads up north.

I wouldn't hesitate to get in it and drive on a long trip, it has always been dependable.

We barley put over 4000 miles a year on it and have decided we just don't use it enough to justify keeping it around, we have 3 other cars and a truck.

It would make a nice "Short Limo" for a Limo Service or someone a real classy ride.

There are normal signs of wear but nothing out of the ordinary. There are tiny road chips on it but not extream, mostly the front bumper.

The window tint on the very bottom edge of the passenger window started to peel up, but just slightly.

The blower motor is always on high, but we would run it there anyways for heat or air, so it hasn't been a problem.

We will require a Deposit of US $200.00 within 48 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 7 days of auction close and before delivery of the vehical.

Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. (Or contact me and we may be able to work something out)

Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.

Lincoln MKC spied in final form

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

When the Lincoln MKC Concept debuted back in January, it received fairly positive feedback from both Autoblog editors and readers alike, and this bodes well for the production version of the luxury crossover judging by these latest spy shots. Reader Ivan Lo captured a few pictures of some MKC prototypes driving around with minimal camouflage, which gives us our best look yet at the design of this new Escape-based Lincoln.
Based on the spy shots from back in May, we already knew that the production MKC would sport some real door handles, a little side cladding and bigger door mirrors, but these latest shots also show us that the rear quarter windows have been enlarged and the integrated dual exhaust outlets have been replaced by round pipes. This means that the MKC will retain the concept's narrow headlights and what is arguably Lincoln's best execution of its split-wing grille. Even better, the rear view confirms the stylish horizontal taillights will remain intact, as well as the Audi-like wraparound liftgate. Since the entire taillight assembly rises along with the liftgate, redundant lights were also added into the rear fascia.
Unfortunately, the low angle of these spy shots leaves us without a view of the interior, but based on its looks alone, the MKC is shaping up to be a promising vehicle for a brand that so badly needs some fresh metal.

Would a Mustang-based Lincoln look like this?

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Designer Josiah LaCalla has taken a stab at what a Ford Mustang-based Lincoln model might look like with the Continental Mark X1 concept. Make no mistake, Ford's luxury arm has made it abundantly clear that it won't be pursuing any new products outside of volume models, which means a flashy halo grand tourer like the one you see here isn't in the cards. LaColla used the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as a basis for his creation, which explains the long nose, but we certainly don't mind the idea of a rear-wheel drive Lincoln with a cabin pushed to the aft.
While we're dreaming, there's certainly nothing stopping us from imagining what's under that lengthy hood. We like the idea of the 5.8-liter supercharged V8 from the Shelby GT500 pushing the Mark X1 down the road, but how about something a little more inventive? Something like a high-revving, buttery V12 with enough torque to push the contraption well past 200 miles per hour. Dream a little dream, people.
