Second Owner (since end of 2005 and 7,500 miles), garage kept, well-cared for and NOT a single ding, scratch or dent on the body. Front bumper cover and front lip of hood has the usual rock chips from mostly highway driving. Windshield has one pencil eraser-sized rock chip in lower left corner (in black part of the glass), not noticeable and not visible from driver's seat. Otherwise, the body is perfect. Interior is a 9.5/10. No rips in leather, very minimal sign of use in interior; a few pixels in radio display sometimes do not light up fully (common with these cars). Overall, in excellent condition for its age. We try to take very good care of our cars and it shows.
Must pay in full (Cash Only) and pick up car within 24 hrs of auction close. If you are not prepared to do that, please look elsewhere. Bids from buyers of feedback score of less than 10 will be cancelled, unless you contact me first.
Car is offered for sale locally for $7500 firm; see Kelly BlueBook value report (it's worth a lot more). Will remove auction if car sells locally.
You are welcome to see and test drive the car in person.

More photos of the 2014 Mazda3 sedan
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Thanks to the folks at Top Gear Russia, we got an early glimpse of the 2014 Mazda3 sedan. Now, Mazda has released more images of its sleek new four-door, and if you like what the Japanese automaker has done with the five-door hatchback, you won't find anything to complain about with the sedan.
Many would argue that the Mazda3 sedan looks like a scaled-down version of the new Mazda6, and in many cases, that's true. But there are subtle details about the Mazda3 that we really like, starting with the larger grille that makes for a slightly more aggressive front end. On the profile, we like how the strong arching character lines that flow over the front and rear wheel wells intersect in the middle of the car and then taper off. At the rear, a short decklid rounds off a very clean design with taillamps that are indeed reminiscent of the larger Mazda6.
We can't yet confirm powertrain details (or any other specifications, really), but we fully expect the same 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engines to carry over from the hatchback, as well as the six-speed automatic and manual transmissions.
2014 Mazda6 to start at $20,880*
Wed, 19 Dec 2012We got our very first taste of the impressive 2014 Mazda6 back in October, and had more than a few good things to say about the midsizer. One piece of information that was conspicuous by its absence, however, was a sticker price.
Now, with zero pomp and circumstance (not even a press release as of this writing), Mazda has dropped what looks to be official pricing for the 6 on its consumer website.
$20,880 is the asking price for the base Mazda6 Sport with a manual transmission (plus $795 worth of destination charges, for a total of $21,675). Alaska residents will need to cough up $840 for destination. The loaded-up Mazda6 Grand Touring shown on the site will set you back a total of $30,290 (MSRP of $29,495), but it isn't clear if that's the starting price of the Grand Touring trim. Mazda is taking orders for the new 6 right now, and the cars will be available on January 2, 2013.
Mazda CX-5 in auto-brake accident on Japanese test drive
Thu, 14 Nov 2013As we slowly march towards a world where our cars will drive for us, there will be mishaps. Systems will act up, not behave has intended or we'll simply forget to turn them on. We all remember when Volvo tested the S60's City Safety system. Now Mazda has had an issue of its own.
During a test of a Mazda CX-5's Smart City Brake Support on a dealership lot in Japan, a prospective customer and a dealership employee were injured when they hit a urethane barrier used for testing the system. According to Bloomberg, which spoke with the Saitama Prefectural Police, the impact with the barrier left the customer with an injured neck while the dealership employee suffered a fractured arm. Considering the injuries, we imagine this wasn't a small barrier.
"For any safety function, it's impossible to be 100-percent free of accidents. These technical functions aren't always the easiest to understand," IHS Automotive auto parts analyst, Hiroshi Ataka told Bloomberg.
