New engine with only 24,000 miles! Engine, transmission, clutch, pressure plate all replaced by Scott's Auto in Cumming in May 2012 at 82,585 miles. All the proper paperwork. This is like getting a new Speed6 for less than $10,000.

We purchased the car in June 2010 and need to sell it for college. It's been well maintained and well taken care of since we purchased it. We've always changed the oil and completed all scheduled maintenance. All paperwork kept and filed.

The car is all stock except for:

Kenwood Excelon Head Unit,

Synapse Blow Off Valve, and

CorkSport Ram Air Intake (we still have the OEM air intake).

This is a great car. Plenty of room for four people, lots of power when you need it from the turbo, and low RPMs when you're in 6th gear on the highway. Fun and practical car.

2014 Mazda6 earns Popular Mechanics' 'Car of the Year'

Ring one up for Mazda. The Japanese brand's midsize offering, the Mazda6, has been named Popular Mechanics' Car of the Year. The 6 received a comprehensive reworking for the 2014 model year that saw it adopt sleek, sexy sheet metal; a clean, logical interior; and powertrain technologies that allow it to net some of the best fuel economy available in a gas-powered, non-hybrid sedan.
Popular Mechanics praised the 6's Skyactiv 2.5-liter, 184-horsepower engine, as well as its agility and responsiveness during testing. It also remarked on the functional, but well designed cabin, and the degree of available technology.
"The Mazda6 really impressed us with how well it delivers so many things modern car owners want: great mileage, fun road-handling, upscale features and looks - and remarkable value," said Jim Meigs, Editor-in-Chief of Popular Mechanics.

Can rolling your car get any worse? The correct answer is yes, as this poor soul found out when he rolled his Mazda3 onto its side. Calling a tow truck might be a logical, post-rollover move, but in this case, it kind of made the situation worse.

And this isn't just some humdrum crossover or workaday compact, it's the Miata, the world's most popular roadster, apple of the enthusiast community's eye and seeming center of gravity for the Japanese automaker. For those who are genuinely excited about cars - about motoring - this is an impressive feat. If anything, Mazda's radio silence regarding the fourth-generation ND Miata has only served to heighten our anticipation for a model that probably won't reach showrooms for another year.
