Selling my toy after a fun 2+ years, only weekend driven and only on the track once.
I drove this car less than 3,000 miles during the time I have owned it.
This is a rare 1993 Mazda Rx7, only 13,879 were imported into the US between 1993-95 with many being lost to accidents or just plain neglect very few remain and are hard to find for sale.
Newly rebuilt engine with less than 1000 miles on it, street ported on stock twins running non-sequential to clean up the engine bay.
Aftermarket ECU (Power FC) ready for boost to be turned up and hit the street or the strip and have a great time.
AC hard lines and drier were removed during the rebuild and have not been installed but will come with the car, it worked great prior to being removed.
Upgraded all aluminum radiator to help keep her cool during hard drives.
Cluster was replaced and now shows 12,xxx miles
This car gets compliments and looks everywhere it goes, the exterior is in great condition with only a couple door dings and interior is in good condition with only a few missing tabs and MAP pocket top broken.
This car is ready for a single turbo but is already fast enough as it sits and is a fun car to get in and drive to forget everything else.
Vehicle inspections are available on request and test drives only to serious buyers, car is located in Miami.

MotorWeek proves '90s were awesome with Supra, Stealth, RX-7, Corvette, 968, 300ZX comparo
Thu, 24 Jul 2014Oh, the heady days of 1993, back when the Clinton Presidency was just getting underway, and it seemed like every hot new rock band was coming out of Seattle. Sports cars in the US had finally shaken off the shackles that slowed them during the '70s and '80s, and you could buy any number of legitimately quick vehicles again. MotorWeek recently went digging into its archives to find this six-model test from 1993 showing off some of the best semi-affordable performance coupes that money could buy at the time, and it's priceless.
Featuring the 1994 model year Toyota Supra in twin-turbo guise and MY 1993 versions of the Porsche 968, Nissan 300ZX TT, Mazda RX-7, Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo and Chevrolet Corvette LT-1, MotorWeek definitely covered all of the bases. One thing that might surprise younger readers is these cars' performance. The video only provides 0-60 acceleration times, but several of these vehicles would still be considered pretty potent today - over 20 years since going on sale. The Supra is especially impressive, hitting 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds. Even today, that's nothing to sneeze at.
Given their performance potential and still-attractive looks, it's amazing that some of these coupes are old enough to drink now. The progress of interior design and safety equipment in the intervening years is pretty shocking, though. In most of these models, having two airbags is touted as a big deal. Scroll down to watch a Throwback Thursday blast from the past about some of the '90s best sports cars.
Teen Miata enthusiast and friend of Autoblog passes away
Tue, 09 Sep 2014
When Thomas' illness made it impossible for him to drive, he relied on friends to do it for him.
Attending the reveal of the 2016 MX-5 Miata and the subsequent 25th anniversary celebration at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca confirmed that the little roadster maintains broad appeal, one not limited to the elderly or a certain gender as detractors might have you believe. In fact, the assembled crowd was surprisingly youthful, particularly amongst the club racer set and tuners. But one young Miata owner and superfan unfortunately wasn't in attendance - Thomas Jost, 19, was busy fighting for his life in a Maryland hospital.
Fiat reconsidering Mazda-based Alfa Romeo roadster? [w/poll]
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Alfa giveth and Alfa taketh away. With apologies to Job (he has gone through a lot, after all), that's how things are looking at the Italian automaker - whether it's the promise of new products or its impending return to the North American market. But it's especially true when it comes to new roadsters.
While Alfa Romeo is expected to unveil the 4C Spider at the Geneva Motor Show this week, reports are now suggesting that its other roadster project is being called into question. That project is a joint venture between Fiat and Mazda, which was set to produce a version of its next MX-5 Miata as an Alfa Romeo, and was even changing the design to accommodate Alfa's requirements.
Now it appears, however, that the whole project in doubt. The problem seems to stem from Sergio Marchionne's pronouncements that, as long as he's in charge, there won't be an Alfa Romeo built outside of Italy.
