Here is my long awaited project car set aside from 2006. After a new wiring harness was installed the automatic transmission won't manually shift 'aka' the Hold button. But it does kick down in drive? wierd.. Since it does still work I put the problem aside. The last couple of runs in the parking lot the engine light comes on & white smoke comes out exhaust, wierd still pulls extremely hard, Some say bad gas or old gas?....But i'm no mechanic & after putting thousands of $ in aftermarket parts installed and not installed & storage fees.... I'm done. So look at most of what i've bought. So buyer takes all. piece it out, or finish, up to you..
Aftermarket headlight kit installed..$1250.00
99 round tail lights..$525.00
vis carbon fiber hood..$445.00
rebuilt turbo..$1500.00 original turbo was junk had to buy one decent to rebuild
4.3 final drive from 4.1 rear end gears..$500.00 professionally installed W/new seals.=$..more cash
rp triple race pully kit..$350.00
front mount intercooler kit..$845.00
new wire hareness..$900.00
billet fuel management unit..$260.00
HKS blow off valve..Loud..$250.00
5pc Fiberglass Invader Body Kit W/ blinker~parking light
b-nez 3" stainless resonated main pipe..$280.00
a'pex n1 racing exhaust..$490.00
pettit pill to prevent over boosting.
injectors & rack were rebuilt due that they were leaking
new 5 way adjustable damper shocks & About 1 inch lowering Springs
does come with a lambo door kit..looks awesome, but not very user friendly, so i had them put it back
seats were worn so i had them reupholstered black on top to break up all the tan stuff..$500.00 A Seat
Forgeline Rims (2)18x8 & (2)18x11.5.. almost $5,000.00...look it up
Pettit fiberglass wide body rear quarters..to fit those custom 11.5" rims...$300.00
couple tires for front rims...only 1,000 mi.
kenwood dvd player & speakers installed...$1,600.00 back when, probably worth nothing now.
Custom built Xtant system in rear. not hooked up right now. sounds great but adds weight..$2,676.00. not worth it
other small parts like new driver side door handle & miscellaneous parts go with.
Solid car. No rust. I drove it home from Casper, wyoming in 04. I had the receipts at one time showing me the engine & transmission had been replaced around 83,000mi. I would not have put money into the engine if the compression was bad. You have to drive it to appeciate the power and sound from a rotary engine, thanks to my upgrades (lound exhaust & loud blow-off valve). It was dynoed @ 300 at the wheels. The only body damage is the old pin holes from the last body kit installed and that's not even rusty. This was my dream car, hopefully yours. 99.9 percent sure I have all parts needed. I really have fun driving it (just as little in the parking lot). I'm not going to give it away, therefore i'm asking for a small reserve $5,000. I will work with any one intrested out of state & sorts. Happy bidding

2015 Mazda2 spotted on the road
Tue, 15 Apr 2014When Mazda unveiled the Hazumi Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, our excitement for the next Mazda2 increased considerably. The Hazumi looks to retain much of the driving character that makes the current 2 one of the very best cars in its segment while infusing it with more aggressive styling. Of course, when the 2 arrives, it won't look exactly like the Hazumi. That's why these spy photos are so important.
This is our very first look at the next-generation 2, and although the Hazumi influence might be difficult to discern, thanks to the swirly camo, it's still there. The grille shape and the headlights are very similar in shape to the items shown on the concept, while the camouflage disguises the shape of the greenhouse, which looks somewhat like the Hazumi.
What we can't see, though, is under the hood. That's where our spies come in, reporting that a pair of 1.5-liter SkyActiv engines will see action in the tossable 2. The former, which we'll almost certainly see in the US, is a gas-powered mill found in the Euro-spec Mazda3. In the larger 3, it produces 99 horsepower and 111 pound-feet of torque, which is broadly similar to what the current 2's 1.5-liter pumps out. The other engine, a 1.5-liter SkyActiv diesel, probably won't be making the trip, although we'll continue to hope.
2014 Mazda3 configurator zoom-zooms to life
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The 2014 Mazda3 is probably going to be on a lot of shopping lists, thanks to its striking good looks, clean interior treatment, fuel economy and driving character. If it happens to be on your personal list of new cars to test, you'll be happy to see that the configurator for Mazda's newest product has officially gone online.
In terms of build-your-own web items, configuring a 3 isn't much of a departure from the rest of the Mazda range. Most of the work comes from choosing one of the three trim levels - Sport, Touring and Grand Touring - and selecting either the 155-horsepower, 2.0-liter, Skyactiv four-cylinder or its larger sibling, the 184-horsepower, 2.5-liter, Skyactiv four. From there, a simple range of color and interior finishes are available, before a slim list of packages, options and accessories. Really, Mazda's made it easy to get through this build process.
Click on over to the configurator and take a look at the options, colors and prices for Mazda's newest five-door hatchback.
Mazda hits Vegas with a pair of Sixes
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Despite the fact that the annual SEMA show is more of an exercise in what "could be" than what "will be," it gives automakers the chance to stretch the legs of some of its most important models. Take the 2014 Mazda6, for example - it's hardly new, having gone on sale early this year - but this year's SEMA expo marks the first time Mazda has been able to show off the customization possibilities for its sleek midsize sedan. To that end, the Japanese automaker has arrived in Las Vegas with two very different takes on its sexy Six.
First up is the Mazda6 Club Sport you see above, wearing a "motorsports-inspired" gray, black and red accent-color scheme that, as Mazda says, is "represented in not-so-subtle angular lines reminiscent of a car speeding past your line of sight." The whole car is done up in a base color of Composite Grey, and uses a Brilliant Black roof to match the similarly colored front, side and rear diffusers, as well as the rear spoiler. Mazda has fitted the Club Sport with Rays 57 Motorsport G07FXX 20-inch wheels, wrapped in Yokohama 245/35R20 tires. Powering the CS is Mazda's 2.2-liter Skyactiv-D diesel four-cylinder engine (that we'll get in the standard Six early next year), and other changes include an H&R spring kit, larger Brembo brakes and a Racing Beat exhaust.
And then there's the Ceramic 6 Concept, pictured right. The name comes from the car's Ceramic White paint, though we don't really get the Taupe Silver accent stripes. Mazda says they're meant to mimic "the linear frequency patterns found on the likes of couture dresses and flowing fabrics," but it just looks a bit overwrought to us. The Mazda6 already has so many clean lines, why add more?
