THIS IS A GERMAN MODEL THAT WAS IMPORTED TO THE STATES AND HAS NO PROBLEM GETTING REGISTERED. I HAVE A CLEAN CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE. I HAD TO USE ALL ZEROS FOR THE VIN BECAUSE IT'S AN IMPORT CAR. THE VIN # IS WDB12603712037041. THE CAR NEEDS SOME TLC BUT IN GREAT SHAPE CONSIDERING THE YEAR. IT WAS A PROJECT CAR FOR ONE OF MY TENANTS AND THEY OWED ME 3 MONTHS RENT SO HE TURNED THE TITLE AND CAR OVER TO ME. THE MOTOR RUNS WELL. THERE ARE 20" GIOVANNA RIMS WITH ALMOST NEW TIRES ON THEM, A GREAT LOOK FOR THE CAR. THE LEATHER IS IN GREAT SHAPE AGAIN CONSIDERING THE YEAR. WITH A LITTLE TLC YOU WILL HAVE A BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CAR AND YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LOW COST ANTIQUE INSURANCE.

We got overexcited when the W203 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan came out in 2001, calling it the "Baby Benz" when it really wasn't. We knew that, too, but our enthusiasm for a model more like the old 190 of the '80s was so strong that we were willing to stretch the first-gen C-Class to fit that mold. Today, the C-Class has done what all German premium cars do: grown in size. In this case, grown to satisfy the market intentions of the previous E-Class.
There was the tall A-Class sold from 1998 through 2010, but we never considered that a serious small Benz in the proper spirit, nor was it ever offered in the US. Regardless, we've been craving a smaller, premium, sexy sedan all the while.

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.
