Arctic White ML320 Bluetec in excellent condition inside and out. Fastidiously maintained and service by only Mercedes Benz dealership. New brake pads with 3000 miles on them. Paint, trim, wheels, MB Tex upholstery and carpet all in excellent condition. Non-smoking car. Mainly highway miles, with excellent fuel economy. I am the second owner, but only because the first owner opted for an 8 cylinder ML after only three months. If you are a diesel lover as I am, you will agree that this car suffers no loss of torque and get up and go. The only thing it doesn't offer that the V8 does, is a thirst for fuel. The combined highway and in-town mileage is well above the advertised 19MPG. I average 23.7 MPG in town and an impressive 28.7 on the highway. For those familiar with the M Class, this car comes with the P1 package. For those not familiar, this includes the COMAND system of factory navigation, satellite radio, power driver and passenger heated seats, rear heating vents, power glass sunroof, cruise control, MB Telematics, Bluetooth connectivity, iPod/USB connector, 6 disc CD changer, power lift gate and power heated mirrors. This car also has the trailering package, upgraded Harmon Kardon sound system, winter AND summer floormats in excellent condition. This car has never been in an accident and runs perfectly. There is a small scratch on the rear bumper that I have pointed out. But other than that, the car is quite pristine and runs beautifully.  All service records, all manuals and two multifunction keys are included.

Minor damage on 3/12/13 was a broken headlamp cover from stone hitting lens.  Completely replaced with new OEM part.

Mercedes-Benz CLA stars in sweeping short with supermodel Karlie Kloss

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

The Mercedes-Benz CLA earned itself a spot on our list of the top five unveils of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and for good reason. The German luxury compact is the first small car from the Silver Arrow that looks suitably premium inside and out. Nowness.com has turned out a new video of the CLA featuring super model Karlie Koss in the lead role. We aren't entirely sure what the premise is, but from what we can tell, it looks as if the CLA comes to life and proceeds to be a giant jerk.
After Koss stops to take a closer look at a white horse, the CLA gives the supermodel the old stop-and-go treatment before leaving her on the side of the road. Eventually, the sedan makes nice, but Koss has to ride shotgun instead of taking the controls herself. You can check out the video below to see for yourself.

New details emerge on forthcoming Mercedes-Benz SLC

Sat, 02 Feb 2013

Last we heard, the Mercedes-Benz SLC had been put on indefinite hold, but now Car Magazine is reporting that the Porsche 911-fighting "Baby SLS" coupe could be on sale by 2015. Riding on a modified SLS AMG chassis, the smaller and lighter SLC could be priced in the sub-$100,000 price bracket.
We'd already heard that the new car would feature conventional doors (instead of SLS-like gullwing doors), but this report focuses on some of the possible powertrains Mercedes-Benz is likely to use. At launch, the SLC could offer a pair of V8-powered models - a 485-horsepower SLC and a 585-hp SLC S - both being powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. About a year after launch, a new V6 model could emerge giving the SLC an estimated 333 horsepower and its lowest price point.
It also sounds like the car's name hasn't been completely finalized as some people within Mercedes are favoring a return of the SLR name.

LA To The Grand Canyon In The Mercedes-Benz Of RVs
Piloting an 8,500-pound motorized house down the highway is far from my idea of fun, yet inexplicably, I'm enjoying myself. My grin has nothing to do with my camper's handling, as this heavily accoutered Mercedes-Benz Sprinter drives like a 25-foot long breadbox. My smile has nothing to do with on-road stability, as the ten-foot-tall, slab-sided vehicle reacts to wind gusts like the vertical stabilizer on a Boeing jet. My delight has nothing to do with its throttle or braking response, either, as both are as numb as your forehead after the eighth beer.
This monstrosity makes me happy for one reason - my passengers are undeniably having a good time.
