Car runs great, drove to California and Florida in January about 9,000 miles in one month. What a travel car, massaging seats/heated/vented at all four seats. Im including the original rims (one pic shows one of four rims) that came with the car, they are Chrome and need to be re chromed. The TPSMs are good on them. The current rims ARE OEMs from CL version with NO TPSMs(non chrome). The Keyless is not working, came that way and didn't care about it. 2 NEW rear tires (see pic)- current rear are still good for a little while ($500 value) 2 keys are included All books are in the glove box At 100K i had both driver and passenger Lower ball joints and control arms replaced with OEM Mercedes parts. Title in hand Milage today is 115284. I do drive the car and people test drive so under that it wont be at 115284 at end of auction. New Jersey inspection good till 2015 Terms sale: Cash (title released immediately) Check (Certified or not) Title released when CLEARED Credit card or paypal-3% added to FINAL Bid I will drive the car within 150 miles of area code 07885 to deliver I had to re-list because "auto check" lists the title with "lemon law/buy back". NJ title is CLEAR with NO LIEN OR LEMON LAW/BUY BACK! I included a picture of the title and as you can see its clear. On Mar-06-14 at 12:04:26 PST, seller added the following information: Both Remote Keys work (all doors and trunk). The Keyless go system does not work. That means that the key needs to be used to start the car. Thank you all. |

Mercedes to market Tesla-powered 2014 B-Class EV in U.S.
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Looks like another Tesla Motors investor will be looking to cash in on their connection. Autoweek reports Mercedes-Benz will offer their B-Class in the U.S. with Tesla propulsion.
The magazine says their source at the German automaker confirms plans for a B-Class electric-only vehicle. While Tesla already provides battery packs for the battery-powered Smart ForTwo, the B-Class EV will reportedly have Tesla batteries, motor and other components. U.S. residents should be able to procure one sometime in 2014.
The same Mercedes source says plans for a hybrid B-Class have been postponed for now. Adding a range-extending, gasoline-powered engine to an electric vehicle would put the car into a different class for which rebates and incentives aren't as favorable in the States.
Daimler employees can set email to auto-delete during vacation
Mon, 18 Aug 2014The Internet has shrunk the world in terms of the way people communicate by making it possible to send an email from Oslo and have it show up in Cleveland almost immediately. But that instant contact has wrecked the work/life balance for many. They get home from a long day at the office, yet they can never fully put their feet up and relax because another hour or more of checking and replying to emails awaits. However, German automotive giant Daimler is putting an end to that churn, at least while its employees are on vacation.
About 100,000 Daimler employees in Germany are eligible to opt-in to a new program called Mail on Holiday, according to The Atlantic. When the workers go on vacation, they can switch it on, and the service auto-deletes all of their incoming email. "Our employees should relax on holiday and not read work-related emails," said Wilfried Porth, board member for human resources, to The Financial Times as cited by The Atlantic.
Mail on Holiday puts a thumb on the scale of work/life balance in favor of a little more free time. The system means that Daimler employees shouldn't even be tempted to check their email on vacation because there's nothing there - and it also avoids them coming back from a relaxing holiday only to find a mailbox packed full of hundreds of unread messages. These days, people are absolutely obsessed with their work, often to the detriment of their health, not to mention spending time with their families and friends. On one hand, Mail on Holiday sounds like the sort of vacation breakthrough we'd need to truly unplug and unwind, but on the other hand, it makes our skin crawl just thinking about the lack of communication. Chris Harris and David Coulthard wring out a Mercedes Fintail at the N"urburgring
Thu, 17 Oct 2013If there's one thing we've learned from the latest video from Drive, it's that the combination of Chris Harris and David Coulthard will produce some very quotable moments. Take this exchange, for example.
DC: "We are by some way the slowest."
CH: "But we're in a class of three cars, apparently."
