2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 4matic all wheel drive Designo. 42,000 miles. Designo graphite grey metallic exterior compliments the cream premium leather interior.
Loaded with options such as the Designo edition, dynamic multi-contour front seats with massage feature heated and cooled front seats; navigation, blue tooth and rear view camera, power truck closer as well as many other options you would expect with a Mercedes.
Mechanically:
The car runs perfect and serviced by Mercedes, all service is up to date. The car goes down the road effortlessly with no problems.
Tires and brakes are good and everything works properly.
The body is very nice and looks fine; it does have normal road chips and small fine scratches nothing noticeable or would show up in the pictures the car looks great!
The interior is immaculate and leather seats look near perfect with no tears, rips or stains, premium leather. Power sunroof, power seats, wood trim, dual zone climate control, alloy wheels, power locks, alarm keyless entry, CD changer, cruise control, power telescoping wheel, and fog lights heated/cooled multi-contour with massage front seats, rear view camera are just some of the options.
I am a car enthusiast and have several cars I am very fussy, garaged kept and hand washed on a weekly basis polished several times a year with Collinite wax, the interior is kept clean at all times. The car has never been smoked in. The car has a clean car fax.
The car is listed locally and the auction could end early. Inspections welcomed and encouraged since the car is being sold with no warranty and sold AS-IS. Please ask as many questions before purchasing. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer; the car is located in Western Massachusetts the home of the Basketball Hall of Fame. The Hartford airport is located just twenty miles away.

Highlights from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, including the McLaren P1 and a Ford Transit running the hill
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The sole purpose of this post is as a time-waster, and since you shouldn't have to work to waste time, we've done it for you. In the numerous videos below you'll find cars that have lately been in the news tramping all over the grounds of Lord March's estate in Goodwood, England.
There's the McLaren P1 heading up the hill, the Jaguar Project 7, then a casually-driven Porsche 917 followed by an even-more-casually-driven Porsche 956, topped off by a Porsche 936 that is anything but casually driven. The next round is the flame-spitting Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak from Climb Dance, a camera mounted on the Peugeot RCZ R after it showing you what the whole, uninterrupted run up the hill looks like. For a real head-turner, we couldn't embed it but there's Andy Reid blasting up the hill in a Ford Transit Supervan with a Cosworth 3000 V6 engine.
The modern racing contingent has Allan McNish doing the hill in the Audi R18 e-tron quattro he used to win Le Mans and Lewis Hamilton making lots of tire smoke in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas MGP-W02. For comparison, that's followed by Nick Heidfeld's record-setting run up the hill in 1999 in the McLaren MP4/14 . The classic racing contingent is headlined by 71-year-old Giacomo Agostini on an MV Agusta.

There have been five Black Series models since the Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG Black Series introduced itself to European audiences in 2006. Following that, the Black Series club has hosted appearances by the 2008 CLK63 AMG Black Series, the 2009 SL65 AMG Black Series and last year's 2013 C63 AMG Black Series. The sixth member of the group is one we would have thought already was a Black Series car in its standard guise. Right out of the box, the SLS AMG is loud, frenetic, cozy, boisterous and frightfully easy to oversteer. How much more Black did it need to get?
Quite a bit so, apparently. The SLS AMG Black Series has lost weight, gained power and been refitted with upgrades and aero bits from front to rear. If you liked the way it looked before, you'll probably be an even bigger fan of this one. If you thought it looked ungainly, well, this one should stay even further away from pageants. Regardless of where you come down this is the best SLS AMG variant we've driven.
Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
