BUY IT NOW OR MAKE OFFER!! RED 2004 Mercedes Benz 500SL with a little over 55k mikes. We have owned this car for a little over 1 1/2 years, we bought it with 48k miles and it now has 55k miles, it has a clean a clear New Mexico title but the carfax is stating/showing it as a manufacturer buyback or lemon law, I am the 4th owner and from what I understand is the reason is the glass top had been leaking and went back to the dealer a few time for that so it was labeled lemon law, the problem was fixed in 2005 by the 3rd owner and I never had that problem. Okay now that that is said the car has been a very good driver and has not given any problem. I did replace the brakes about 2,000 miles ago. This car is a driver and is 10 years old so it is not perfect, there are a few nicks and scratches on the car please look at all the closeups pictures of the bad area's, there is also chip on the windshield that is now cracking, when we got the car we had a flat and replaced the right rear tire so it is not the same as the other 3. Please look at all 70+ pictures with closeups on all the good and bad area's, I am not trying to hide anything, if you have any questions or would like to speak with me please email. Mercedes-Benz CLA stars in sweeping short with supermodel Karlie Kloss

The Mercedes-Benz CLA earned itself a spot on our list of the top five unveils of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and for good reason. The German luxury compact is the first small car from the Silver Arrow that looks suitably premium inside and out. Nowness.com has turned out a new video of the CLA featuring super model Karlie Koss in the lead role. We aren't entirely sure what the premise is, but from what we can tell, it looks as if the CLA comes to life and proceeds to be a giant jerk.
After Koss stops to take a closer look at a white horse, the CLA gives the supermodel the old stop-and-go treatment before leaving her on the side of the road. Eventually, the sedan makes nice, but Koss has to ride shotgun instead of taking the controls herself. You can check out the video below to see for yourself.

Ernst Lieb, the disgraced former CEO of American operations for Mercedes-Benz, will not be getting any more money from the Silver Arrow'd teat. His wrongful dismissal suit against MB's parent company, Daimler, was tossed out of a German appeals panel. This, followed the initial rejection by a lower court last year.
According to court documents acquired by Automotive News, Lieb was found to have "accepted payments of substantial value to which he - as he was aware - had no claim."
Lieb took over American operations from former CEO Paul Halata in September of 2006. Reports surfaced in October of 2011 that Lieb was dismissed from his posting at MB, with a variety of rumors swirling. Eventually, news broke that financial wrong doing was responsible for the German's firing.

New details emerge on forthcoming Mercedes-Benz SLC

Last we heard, the Mercedes-Benz SLC had been put on indefinite hold, but now Car Magazine is reporting that the Porsche 911-fighting "Baby SLS" coupe could be on sale by 2015. Riding on a modified SLS AMG chassis, the smaller and lighter SLC could be priced in the sub-$100,000 price bracket.
We'd already heard that the new car would feature conventional doors (instead of SLS-like gullwing doors), but this report focuses on some of the possible powertrains Mercedes-Benz is likely to use. At launch, the SLC could offer a pair of V8-powered models - a 485-horsepower SLC and a 585-hp SLC S - both being powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. About a year after launch, a new V6 model could emerge giving the SLC an estimated 333 horsepower and its lowest price point.
It also sounds like the car's name hasn't been completely finalized as some people within Mercedes are favoring a return of the SLR name.
