Beautifuk 2004 Mercedes Benz SL 500 - this is a one family owned Mercedes, current mileage is 58,150 orginal miles. This SL 500 was originally purchased at Mercedes Benz of Escondido. I am second owner in my name and owned since 2/2010 or 38,000 miles. I will upload additional photos later this weekend.
Just put brand new tires all around, Z rated NITTO's 295/ZR20's in rear and 265/ZR25's in front, new tread angles on these are great, quiet and sticky , very nice ride, wheels are MB style staggered wheels, these are MB wheels not cheap knock offs and looks great, lots of compliments
Car runs execellent, great smooth powerful quiet Mercedes, coupled with the 7 speed automatic transmission the gas mileage is amazing. Sound system and Nav system is stock Mercedes, sounds great and works well. Paint is Mercedes Pewter, no scratches lots of depth in clear coat. interior is immaculant grey leather, everything works, just had oil changed at KONIG motorsports in Oceanside, vehicle got a clean bill of heatlth. No malfunctions anywhere on the car.
Everything works perfectly in the car, no issues what so ever, you could drive the SL anywhere with complete confidence - would retail at over $28k on a dealers lot, clean CA title in hand, current reg and smog thru May 2014 (reg) smog good for two years, car is ready to be enjoyed. No disappointments with this SL

Race Recap: Singapore Grand Prix is about a safety car and submission
Mon, 23 Sep 2013The Singapore Formula One Grand Prix is the Monaco GP of the Orient - a weekend known more for its glamour and time-slot than on-track action, with a temporary circuit that punishes every mistake, usually terminally.
Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas got the best of Free Practice 1, opening the curtain on a possible resurgence of Silver Arrows performance. By the time qualifying was done, though, it was his teammate Nico Rosberg who lined up second on the grid, followed by Romain Grosjean with a beautiful performance in the Lotus, Mark Webber in the Infiniti Red Bull, and Hamilton all the way back in fifth. Behind them were Felipe Massa outqualifying Ferrari teammate Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button getting the McLaren into eighth, Daniel Ricciardo with another good Q3 effort to get into ninth, and the shocker of Esteban Gutiérrez getting his Sauber into the top ten for the first time this year.
At the front of the pack was Sebastian Vettel. Again. But he was only ahead of Rosberg by a single tenth of a second...
Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013
Sun, 15 Sep 2013When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
Mercedes dealers authorized to spend $2,500 on perks for S-Class customers
Mon, 02 Dec 2013If you drop $100,000 on a luxury sedan, it seems only reasonable to receive some preferential treatment at the dealership you purchased from. After all, that price isn't just for the car - you're paying for the brand and all the cachet that entails. For Mercedes-Benz, those benefits have apparently been lacking relative to the German brand's luxury competitors.
That's set to change, though, as Automotive News reports that the German brand is placing a much greater emphasis on keeping its customers happy and loyal with its MB Select program. Starting with the new S-Class and spreading to the CLA-Class (and eventually beyond), dealers are being given money - up to $2,500 in the case of the flagship sedan - just to improve the customer experience.
We agree, improving the "customer experience" is quite a vague term, so it's nice that Mercedes USA's CEO, Steve Cannon, offered up some examples to AN at the LA Auto Show. For example, a customer couldn't fit his sunglasses into the overhead compartment. "So we bought him a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that fit because of their shape," Cannon said.
