Bought this MINI in 2011 from carmax. I am the second owner and have had no problems. I recently joined the coast guard and have little need for a vehicle at my new station. This supercharged MINI Has low mileage and is very clean. Very little wear and tear. The car is in great condition and has all the specs that the sport edition has. It has a 6 speed manual transmission with cruise control and traction control for those rainy days. Both AC and the heater work in the car and also has a panoramic sun roof that covers the front and back seat of the car. Nothing is questionable in the car. everything that supposed to work works. Has all the bells and whistles. Dual sunroof with sun screen., A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Never seen snow, Non-smoker, Very clean interior.

Tony Hawk jumps a moving Mini
Sun, 25 May 2014Remember a couple of years ago when Tony Hawk jumped over a Lexus LFA on his skateboard? Well that was nothing compared to what he's done here.
Sure the LFA is a more impressive car than a Mini hatchback, but that Japanese supercar was sitting still when the world's most famous skater jumped over it. And it was parked sideways. This time Tony's jumped a moving car, front to back. It gets even more impressive than that when you see what happens to the ramp after he's done with it, but we don't want to ruin the surprise.
The stunt was performed in celebration of the partnership between Mini USA and Hawk's Birdhouse Skateboards Tour, details of which you can read in the press release under the video below.
Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.

2014 Mini John Cooper Works GP
Fri, 16 Nov 2012About three weeks prior to this brief yet balls-to-the-wall drive on the Spanish island of Mallorca, I saw that Mini USA announced pricing for the keenly anticipated Mini John Copper Works GP. And that number would be - *a-hem* - $39,950 for starters.
I am always intent upon finding the pinnacle of what a certain car promises me, and almost at any cost. Almost. When I think "steaming hatchback," I think of something exactly like this Mini GP, and the steep price doesn't squelch my pleasure. They're only building 2,000 of them anyway, and the units coming to the US will start arriving in owners' hands on March 16 of next year. These buyers will be extremely happy and remorse-free.
