2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII Evolution "Evo"

Only 86k miles. This car is 99% stock. I am also including original owners manual, and an extra set of OEM floor mats brand new in the wrapper from Mitsubishi.

Adult owned and driven carefully. It was just at the dealer for a tune up, spark plugs, tires rotated and balanced, induction service, and oil and filter change. They did a comprehensive inspection for me and the techs at the dealership said its a great car, they were all curious how much I was selling it for. It gets attention everywhere I go.

The cons: It does have a few common issues that all of these cars have, all cosmetic. The wing has faded clear coat, as well as the calipers. There are some deep scratches on the drivers door, and a some small ones on the rear bumper. These are the only issues I can find. The red paint still has lots of shine. Feel free to contact me via email for close up pictures of noted issues.

This car is a 9 out of 10 overall, and it gets attention everywhere I go from people who know what this car is. Most people haven't seen one this stock in a long time.

Greg Tracy's MiEV Evolution III topped the time sheets almost 14 seconds ahead of third-place Monster Tajima.
On Thursday, qualifying times for six categories were set on the bottom-section switchbacks of Pikes Peak: Electric Modified - near-unlimited showcases of electric-vehicle engineering; Electric Production - electric vehicles "readily available to the public;" Open Wheel - single engine, open wheeled, open cockpit, single seat vehicles; Open - based upon a production or approved-aftermarket-replica vehicle; Exhibition - a prototype or pre-production vehicle limited to one year of eligibility in this class; and Vintage - vehicles and drivelines from 1990 or earlier.

Mitsubishi boss says US operations may break even next year

Mitsubishi has lost money in its North America operations every year since 2007, but in an interview at this week's Tokyo Motor Show, company president Osamu Masuko said, "If things keep going well, it might be the case that we break even this year," Automotive News reports.
A little context: Last month Mitsubishi predicted that it would lower its operating loss in the region to 4-billion yen ($40.7 million) by March 31, the end of the fiscal year, well below the previous fiscal year's operating loss of more than five times that amount. Reflecting that, production at the Japanese automaker's sole North American factory in Normal, Illinois, has grown to 56,630 vehicles through October, compared to 27,339 through the same period last year.
The plant makes the Outlander Sport for the US and for export to markets such as Russia, the Middle East and Latin America. Interestingly, out of the 56,630 Outlander Sports built at the Illinois plant through October, only 20,150 were sold in the US.
