Hello, Thank you for looking. I have my 1983 280ZX up for auction. The vehicle does run good but needs alittle work. Sometimes when I start the vehicle in the morning it runs sluggish with blue smoke that comes out that smells like gas, after about 3 to 4 minutes it runs fine. Im not sure
if it needs new injectors or something else. The vehicle is ready to hit 200,000 miles but still runs good. The speedometer stays on 0 so im not sure if it just needs to be hooked back up,  The odometer does work so it does show the miles. The cruise control is not working, not sure what it needs
to fix it. There are a few other minor things like the glovebox and the center console lid that needs new clips. Now for the good things, the air conditioner works good, all of the gauges work except for the speedometer that i listed earlier, The t- tops do not leak, I replaced the fuel pump, distributor, module,
and coil. There is very minimal rust, the only rust I see on the vehicle is the spare tire well is rusted out alittle. The vehicle does run good, it is a daily driven car. The seats also need to be redone I have seat covers over them. I listed everything to the best that I can remember so if you any questions
please email me before bidding. The car is being auctioned as is. I am selling the car with a no reserve price. Thank you for looking.

Nissan recalls over 220k Altima sedans over hoods that could fly open

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Nissan will be recalling 220,000 Altima sedans, according to a new recall bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Apparently, model year 2013 Altimas built between March 6, 2012 and February 28, 2013 are at risk of their hoods flying open at speed.
According to NHTSA, debris, corrosion and interference between the hood's inner panel and the secondary latch lever could bind the mechanism in the unlatched position. While this in itself won't cause the hood to fly open - there's still a primary latch that needs released from within the cabin - it presents a potentially dangerous situation should the primary latch be accidentally released.
Nissan will begin notifying owners of the affected vehicles, who will need to report to their local dealer for free repairs. Scroll down for the full bulletin from the government safety watchdog.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: Wrap-Up [w/video]

Tue, 13 May 2014

Despite our tendency as enthusiasts to clamor for things like wagons and hot hatchbacks, it's hard to argue with the buying public's increasing demand for functional crossovers. In fact, the great SUV craze of the late-1990s has all but faded in favor of the easier-driving, better-packaged, more-efficient crossover. That's even true at the larger end of the market - just look at what happened when Ford redesigned its body-on-frame Explorer into a stylish and well-equipped CUV. And now look at the similar success Nissan has had in repurposing its rugged Pathfinder sport-ute as an appealing crossover.
But happily, we report the following line: out of every long-term vehicle Autoblog has ever tested, not a single one has been as in-demand as the 2013 Pathfinder Platinum you see here. After 13 months of solid use, we added 24,372 miles to the Pfinder's odometer - and that's without the vehicle ever leaving the hands of our Detroit-based team (sorry, West Coasters).
There's good reason for that high-demand usage, too. After spending a little over a year with our Mocha Stone tester (a color that earned this Nissan the nickname "Sweet Brown") we came to appreciate its vast versatility, comfort, all-weather prowess, and the way it absolutely ate up the miles on long trips. We drove it all over the United States, in all four seasons, filling it with our families, friends, and occasionally using its capacious cabin for sleeping on the road. Through good and bad, the Pathfinder was a trusty friend. But like any good friendship, that wasn't without a couple of fights.

Nissan recalls over 120,000 Altimas due to... spare tire inflation?!

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

A pressure regulator that over- or underinflated spare tires for five days earlier this year has led to a recall of 123,308 units of the 2013 Nissan Altima. Sedans that were manufactured from March 21-26 are those possibly affected by the temporary tire snafu, the recall for which will begin on May 3.
Those notified of the issue can take their sedans to their local Nissan dealer, who will check the tire pressure and correct it if necessary, but we imagine owners can probably just whip out a tire gauge to check and adjust the inflation for themselves. Should you need it, there's an official notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below with a few more details.
