'92 300zx Auto Low Mileage Clean Title on 2040-cars
New Philadelphia, Ohio, United States
I have had this car for a couple months and noticed an oil leak. I sent it to a Nissan dealership nearby. I had them put in: valve oil seals, tensioner springs, camshaft oil seals, timing belt, water pump assy, 3 pulley assy, radiator hose, and a couple belts. Yet, when I got it back the speedometer wasn't reading the mph. They tried to charge me more to fix it even though it wasn't like that when I sent it to them. Plus bottom part of my front spoiler was cracked when the person towed it there, so I just got done replacing the whole front bumper with new Extreme Dimensions Vader Duraflex. Along with just a month ago I put in all new Sylvania Headlight Silverstar ZXE. In the back I also put in a cargo cover. And custom subwoofer boxes 10" with gold connections. I have a custom 300zx keys (1 master key, 1 valet key, 1 spare key). IF the sale goes above $7000, I'll include my jdm smoked tail lights which I was about to install this summer along with brand new kicker speakers. Sadly, my car was broken into so the car has no amps (my 2 brand new kicker amps that i had installed were stolen) at the moment. I need the money for my college tuition this coming semester. I have improved the car since I have purchased and I have invested over $9000 in it. KBB valued it to be at $7526. NADA says it is valued at $8275.
Please don't bid if you really are not interested. |

YouTuber TJ Smith is your singing Lyft driver in Nissan Sentra ad
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Perhaps you've seen Nissan's latest commercial, promoting the Sentra. It's a fairly simple little spot, showing the compact's driver blaring Billy Idol's Mony Mony, singing along and encouraging other motorists to join in.
We'd have been fine had it been left at that. It's a simple commercial that shows the car with a catchy tune and smiling people. Nissan couldn't leave well enough alone, though, and has come back with this. Starring TJ Smith - the driver from the original ad and an apparent YouTube celebrity famous for the kind of thing shown in the original commercial - the new ad expands on the old, with more people, and more Mony Mony. This time round, Smith is serving as a driver for the Lyft service, who just happens to break into song with his fares in the car.
Scroll down for the full video. If you've no idea what we're talking about, we've also included the original commercial.
Nissan GT-R goes 183 mph on ice in Russia
Sat, 06 Apr 2013When a pair of Russian pilots wanted to set a local ice-speed record, they chose a stock Nissan GT-R for the task. Roman Rusinov, a Russian race car driver, and Andrey Leontjev, a Russian auto journalist, took Godzilla to Lake Baikal and ran it up to 294.8 kilometers per hour (182.8 miles per hour) across frozen stuff estimated to be 1.4 meters thick.
While the worldwide record of 205.48 mph was set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Supersports Convertible, the mark achieved by Rusinov and Leontjev establishes a new Russian record. Well done, boys. You can watch it all go down in the video below.
Nissan Note getting a little louder with Nismo versions this fall
Thu, 24 Jul 2014Nissan's Nismo performance division has been getting more chances to shine recently with tuned models like the Juke Nismo RS and GT-R Nismo. But its latest creation moves closer to the bottom of the Japanese brand's lineup to make a hot hatch out of the (Versa) Note.
At least in Japan, the new model is due this fall, and Nismo is keeping a lot of the details about its latest creation a secret for now. What we do know is that it'll be available in two trims - the Note Nismo and the sportier Nismo S. "The development concept of this model was to build a car that makes you want to keep driving, no matter where your destination may be," said the division's chief product specialist, Hiroshi Tamura, in the company's announcement.
Aesthetically, the Note Nismo looks the way a tuned Nissan should, with the division's signature red trim outlining the car. It also wears a new, mesh grille, lower air dam, red side sills and rear spoiler. Inside, the S gets standard sport seats with full Recaro buckets as an option. Nissan didn't release technical specs for either version, but it promises that the S also gets a tuned engine with a five-speed manual.
