This is a 1991 Nissan 300 zx Twin Turbo. The car has been parked for 7 years. I have cleaned out the gas tank, installed a new battery and test driven the car. The brakes will need to be worked on. The brake hose on the drivers side front wheel is leaking. The car runs and shifts good. This is a project or good parts for a better car. Tail light lens have heat cracks from being being exposed to the sun. The t tops do not leak and the covers are in the back. Bid to win, this is a no reserve auction. I do not know much about these cars, but this one appears to be a good start to a project. Original sticker price was over $34,000. The car was originally red, but was painted by the original owner when new. I would rate the paint now as about a 5. Some of the soft rubber parts are showing cracks and crazing. What you see is what you get. I do not have any other parts or pieces.

Club to restore amazeballs Datsun Safari Rally Z
Sun, 15 Sep 2013Thanks to the Nissan Restoration Club, a legendary rally car is coming back to life. At the recent Nissan 360 media event, the Japanese automaker announced that its restoration club is bringing the Safari Rally Z back to original running condition. A variant of the Fairlady Z (or Datsun 240Z in the US), the Safari Rally Z has a fastback coupe body and a 215-horsepower inline-six engine. It won East African Safari Rally championships in both 1971 and 1973. The restoration is scheduled for completion this December.
Formed in 2006, Nissan's Restoration Club is comprised of 60 volunteer members who are passionate about Nissan's historic racecars. The club's past restoration projects include the 1964 Skyline racecar and 1947 Tama electric vehicle. Fri, 28 Feb 2014Using cameras in place of a car's rearview mirrors has long been a feature of pie-in-the-sky concept cars, although so far, it's failed to translate into the world of production vehicles. Nissan is looking to change that, though, with its new Smart Rearview Mirror.
With a flick of a switch, drivers can jump back and forth between what they'd normally see through the rearview mirror and the camera's feed from the back of the car.
The Smart Rearview Mirror blends everything we know about traditional reflective glass mirrors with a video feed from the rear of the car into a form factor that's immediately recognizable to the average motorist. The mirror itself features an integrated LCD display with a four-to-one aspect ratio.
2013 Nissan GT-R and 2013 Alpina B6 mix it up on track and street

Here we have Autocar making an unforeseen comparison: the Nissan GT-R against the Alpina B6 at Brands Hatch and on public roads. Steve Sutcliffe clobbers the circuit in the 3,828-pound, all-wheel-drive sports car, then sees how well the 4,114-pound, rear-wheel drive grand tourer does against it.
Sutcliffe says there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, but that's really only on the spec sheet. The Nissan's got two turbos attached to its 3.8-liter V6, 542 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina's got two turbos attached to its 4.4-liter V8, 532 hp and 528 lb-ft. But one's brief is to be a monster on the track, the other on the boulevard, and if there's anything the video demonstrates, it's each car's focus.
