This is a Nissan 300zx N/A with a 5-speed, in black. I have owned this car for quite some time now and it is finally time to let her go. This is a great summer/weekend car, or a car ready for some track action if you are into that sort of thing. This car is extremely rare to see in this good of shape. Often they have a significant amount of mileage on them, or they have been tuned to a point where they cannot function properly. This car has been tuned, lightly, mostly the suspension. The car drives like a dream. The reason I got rid of the 300 was because I bought a 350z; but I have to say, the 300zx's handling is far far superior. Its predicable and grippy. It really is an absolute blast to drive

One of the best things about the car is the rarity. You never see the car anymore, and for that reason, it turns heads. People constantly stop and ask about the car, mostly because they have never seen one before, and because it truly is one of the most beautiful cars Nissan and Datsun every made. The body lines are timeless, and unlike other 90's cars, its looks have not gone out of style. With the car comes Nissan 350z Touring wheels, and the original premium alloys.

The car has 113,555 miles on it and has never seen winter.

Body:
Overall:
The body is in good shape for its age, however it does have some rust as I do live in New England (Vermont). Again, it has never seen winter, however there is some rust in the undercarriage and in the wheel well of the passenger side. I have had this looked at by a certified master body-technician and he has stated that it is completely treatable. As far as the paint goes, there is some minor hazing in the paint (I'm sure a professional buff can take it out) and some small surface scratches on the doors. The front end of the car has been repainted by the same body-tech.

Goodies:
-Stillen front lip
-Tinted Corners
-350z touring wheels!

Mechanical:

A couple of things that do not work:
E-Brake: This is a insanely common occurrence for this car. You probably won't find a Z with a functioning E-Brake. Many of them rip, and they rarely are replaced. I do, however, have the replacement E-Brake cables which will be included with the car.
Window: The drivers side window was replaced as the car was broken into before I had come to own the car (or may have just broken, I'm not entirely sure, I just know because I found the glass in the carpet). With that being said the window is there, and works, but doesn't work quite right. I've had it looked at half-a-dozen times and no one seems to know how to get it functioning just right.
Air-conditioning: it works; but the freon needs to be replaced. I have not replaced it myself... well, because I just take the T-Tops off. Never really needed it!

Upgrades/Maintenance:
-Transmission has been replaced, as well as the clutch and flywheel, pilot bushings, and starter have as well
-Wiper Motor has been replaced
-Cooling systems and transmission fluid have been flushed; regularly
-Oil has been changed every 3000 miles; come with spare oil pan; Z's have a soft belly pan and are known to get obliterated on a pothole; luckily this has not happened to me
-Alignments have been done as necessary.

Goodies
-Injen Cold Air Intake
-Tokico Illumina Shocks
-Eibach Sport Springs, with bump stops
-Stillen Sway Bars
-JWT High Pro Clutch
-Stillen Short Shifter
-Z1 1-Piece aluminum driveshaft
-SPL front upper control arms
-SPL V2 tension rods
-Stainless steel brake lines
-B&B high-flow cat-back exhaust- one of the best exhausts money can buy. It's truly awesome. The link below is my car with the exhaust.

Interior:
Probably the best thing about the car. It's interior really is in great shape. The car comes with its original mats, and it comes with the T-Top leather bags. No rips, tears or stains in the seats, or doors (satin). There is one small burn in the seat. No one has smoked in this car

If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I would give my number but I am a chef and I am at work 90% of the time I am awake. I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks! Happy Bidding!

Nissan to add Rogue, Murano hybrid around 2015

Sun, 25 Aug 2013

Except for the limited-production, Toyota-assisted Altima Hybrid, Nissan has pretty much shied away from hybrid vehicles, but that is all about to change. As a part of a plan to launch a total of 15 electrified vehicles by 2016, Nissan is launching the Pathfinder Hybrid, which goes on sale this fall, and we've heard in the past that the Altima will get another hybrid variant, as well. Now, Green Car Reports is confirming that the Murano and the smaller Rogue (seen above in next-gen prototype phase) will both receive hybrid powertrains.
Though riding on different platforms, both hybrid crossovers could share the system being introduced in the Pathfinder, consisting of a 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine, a 22-horsepower electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. There is still no word on when the next-gen Murano will arrive, but the 2014 Nissan Rogue will be introduced on September 10.

Formula Drift kicks off 11th season on Streets of Long Beach

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The 2014 Formula Drift series kicked off last weekend in Long Beach, and saw Chris Forsberg, who you'll recall went mad and drifted around a warehouse in an Infiniti M, take the title behind the wheel of his Hankook Tire Nissan 370Z (shown above).
Forsberg really ran away with the first round of competition, outscoring his closest opponent, second-place finisher Kenneth Moen and his Bridges Racing Nissan 240SX, by 20 points. Third place was 2013 championship winner Michael Essa and his Yokohama BMW M3, 30.5 points behind Forsberg.
In the manufacturers' title, Nissan took an early lead with 122 points, which isn't a huge surprise considering five of the top ten drifters were piloting either a Z or a product of the brand's S platform. Ford, which had two drivers (Justin Pawlak and Vaughn Gittin, Jr.) in the top ten, took home second place, while BMW is currently third in the manufacturers' standings.

Roller coaster or racecar, which pulls more Gs?

Tue, 15 Jul 2014

Looking for a thrill? You're not the only one. You'll find kindred spirits at airfields going up for a skydive, atop bridges and towers with bungees attached to their feet and standing in line for roller coasters at the local amusement park. But you'll also find them in the paddock at the racing circuit.
So what's the commonality? G-force. It's like gravity, only in each of these cases, it's experienced by human invention. But which activity subjects your body to the greatest amount of g-force? That's what Nissan set to find out.
Before putting them back in the cockpit, Nismo sent out two of its young hot-shoes - Jann Mardenborough and Mark Shulzhitskiy - to an amusement park in the UK with a camera and a g-force meter to find out if any of the coasters could produce as much lateral gravitational force as an LMP2 racing car. See what they found in the pair of videos, below.
