2004 Nissan 350 Touring Coupe

Color: Exterior- Lemans Sunset  Interior- Black Leather

Condition: Used, but very good condition for the year

Title: Clean, in hand

Milage: 114,198

Thank you for taking the time to look at my listing.

I used the vehicle to commute to and from work and the miles are mostly highway. This Z has truly been my baby. Always garaged with new paint on the front bumper and fenders (NOT due to an accident). Overall the vehicle is in excellent shape for the year and mileage:

Vehicle Highlights:

  • Aerosync N1 Polyurethane Front Bumper
  • Forgestar F14 Gloss Gunmetal 19x10 / 19x11 w/ Nitto Invo Tires (3-4k miles)
  • BOSE Sound System
  • Heated Leather Seats
  • No Engine Modifications & Never Raced

Exterior 8/10 - Minor rock chips, small scratches, and a small door ding. There is a small area below the passenger side taillight that has begun to chip and spider cracks have formed. This is very difficult to photograph and only noticeable in certain lighting (see images).

Interior 8/10 - Normal wear to be expected in a vehicle with 113k miles. The leather seats do not have any holes or tears and are still in very good condition. The center console does show some wear at the edges. The "flaking" console is a common issue in the 350Z. The carpet is in good condition with only one small stain in the trunk compartment.

Mechanical 9/10 - This Z has truly been one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. While I am meticulous about the maintenance, it has never given me an issue or needed major repair. I am also a very "mild" driver and never raced or pushed the vehicle with modifications, with the exception of some spirited driving from time to time. However, the shocks/struts may need to be serviced or replaced soon.

Title in hand. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this vehicle.

Dongfeng-Nissan surprises with Viwa Concept EV for Venucia

Sat, 20 Apr 2013

Nissan has a joint venture in China with Dongfeng to make passenger vehicles, and last year the two companies created a sub-brand called Venucia that aims to roll out five cars by 2015. With the gasoline-engined D50 and R50 and a pilot program for the E30 electric car already out, this little orange beast, the Viwa EV concept, could point the way to a future offering.
Looking like a Chevrolet Spark that spent the weekend raving in Ibiza, the Venucia Viwa EV aims to be reliable, practical, efficient and accessible all in one package. Beyond the practical bit, defined as, "packaged with a compact body for easy driving," Venucia hasn't said how any of those other qualities are achieved. In fact, it hasn't even divulged the specifics of the electric powerplant. However, it does say that it will be developing more EVs under the guide of "China's new energy vehicle policy."
You can get a little more info about it in the press release below, or discover the little peach in the high-res gallery above.

Nissan gets new NA boss, lowered forecasts in management shakeup

Sat, 02 Nov 2013

José Muñoz, a Nissan and Infiniti sales and marketing vice president, will replace Colin Dodge as Nissan's new North America chief, come Jan. 1, as part of a wide-ranging management shuffle, Automotive News reports. Dodge will remain on Nissan's board, be assigned to special projects and report directly to CEO Carlos Ghosn.
Nissan is working on reorganizing its global operations into six regions, each with a new chief: North America (Muñoz' territory), Latin America, Japan-Southeast Asia, China, Europe and Africa-India-Middle East. Currently Nissan divides the globe into three regions, the Americas, Europe-Africa-India-Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Nissan also lowered its sales forecast from 5.3-million vehicles to 5.2 million for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2014. Last year, the company sold 4.914 million in the same period. In May, after Nissan's market share had fallen to 7.7 percent, Ghosn said he wants to double sales in the US by 2017 and increase its market share in the country to 10 percent.

Nissan NV200 Chicago Taxi looking for a #HailYes

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

Nissan may be loaning out its small van to General Motors for its Chicago Auto Show debut, but that doesn't mean that Chevrolet is the only one with new NV200-based wares to share. On the heels of launching its Taxi Of Tomorrow for New York City, the Japanese automaker is giving America's Second City a livery of its own.
Shown here in a green and white paint scheme that "expresses a modern take on a historically popular Chicago taxi color," this NV200 Chicago Taxi is the company's less-than-subtle bid to capture some of the city's cab business, which is estimated to have about 7,000 units in service. Nissan is urging the public to generate discussion on social media and hopefully capture local taxi fleet operators' attention with a #HailYes campaign.
Beyond its unique appearance, this NV200 appears untouched, which means it's still powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine backed by a version of Nissan's ubiquitous XTronic continuously variable transmission.
