And there is so much more done. I really can't list it all. You have to see it to believe it!!
Again, this car is ready for car shows or for driving! With only 38k miles, it has decades of life left!
This Nissan Maxima has won numerous trophies, awards, and plaques.
It has also been a Featured Centerfold in RIDES Magazine. I will include a copy of the magazine with the car if you would like.
If you are worried about a smooth ride because of the big wheels and small tires, you're wrong! It rides extremely smooth. It feels like it has original tires on it.
All of the custom body work was done by Bobby @ Mad Mods in South Florida, a very well known custom fabricator!

If you would like to see any more pictures, or even more detailed and specific photos, please feel free to ask!

Any questions/concerns/interests please ask!

  • Garage kept since the paint job in 2008. No visible signs of sun wear, fading, or major scratches anywhere.
  • Washed and waxed by hand on a regular basis, by me (the owner) exclusively.
  • Has never passed through a mechanical car wash at any time, and all work detail work has been done by hand since the initial buff job from paint work.
  • Fuel tank has always been filled with either Mid or High test fuel, never used 87 octane. The engine still runs very strong and clean.
  • Has ran on Fully Synthetic Oil since first oil change at 1,000 miles. Changed every ~3,000 since, by me.
  • Only mechanical repair was replaced front axel passenger side, done at Nissan Dealership.
  • TITLE IS IN HAND, ready to be signed over to new owner as soon as transaction is complete.

Trades may be considered, but would much rather have cash in hand for the car. Again, please, serious inquiries only!

Some original parts are still available. If you are interested, please ask what you are looking for and I'll let you know if I have it and discuss pricing to add it in the sale.

DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO SCAM ME OR RIP ME OFF IN ANY WAY, I'M NOT AN IDIOT AND I WILL NOT GO FOR IT.
SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, ONLY BID IF YOU WANT THE CAR!
DO NOT WASTE MY TIME OR YOURS.
AS STATED IN TERMS, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP THE CAR. WE WILL MEET AT MY BANK, NOT AT MY HOUSE.

WHEN WE MEET IN PERSON, $500 DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED BY PAYPAL, AND FULL AMOUNT WILL BE DUE IN CASH (CASH ONLY) IN PERSON.

HAPPY BIDDING, AND GOOD LUCK!

Small imperfections to consider:
Rear door speakers may be blown (not sure). Front mud flaps are cracked from bottoming out, but I will provide a replacement set (already own, just haven't painted or installed them). Subwoofer box makes a squeak noise, just needs to be resealed. The blue paint on car is in GREAT condition, only the roof strips have minor flaking at the front of vehicle (painted black). One fog light HID bulb is burnt out (h3 bulb, about $10-20 for a pair).

Did Nissan send a ringer GT-R to run the 'Ring? [w/video]

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

It turns out that after toting a 7:08 time around the fearsome Nürburgring Nordschleife for the new Nismo-tuned GT-R, Nissan might not have been entirely honest about the car it was using. From what we've been hearing from a few different publications, the GT-R featured in the video isn't what we're going to see on the production model.
PistonHeads reported on the so-called "Time Attack" GT-R while it was in Japan for the Tokyo Motor Show, going so far as to detail the differences between it and the standard GT-R Nismo. And friends, this isn't just a matter of swapping tires. The mods made to the Time Attack car are far more comprehensive.
For a start, the TA produces more downforce thanks to larger aerodynamic pieces. It's some 110 pounds lighter than the standard car, thanks to new bucket seats. The ECU and dampers have been swapped for new units, and the brake pads are different as well. If you've read this far, you might be feeling slightly angry or betrayed that Nissan is toting numbers for a modified car. Don't be.

2016 Nissan Titan coming to 2015 Detroit Auto Show

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

The Titan has continued to sit in a corner of Nissan's front yard, taken out on occasion but largely unloved, the same way you see a project truck in a neighbor's driveway that makes you wonder, "Are they ever going to do anything with that?" The fullsize pickup made the news about six months ago when reports surfaced that the next generation would offer a Cummins diesel engine that had originally been meant for Ram, then it returned to the shadows.
According to a report from Edmunds, the Titan will return to the spotlight in about a year, with the unveil of the 2016 model planned for next year's Detroit Auto Show. Along with that oil-burner, it will bring a gasoline V6 engine, a complete redesign and a regular cab configuration to finally give it a fighting chance against the thick end of the light-duty truck market. Toyota gets pressed for the molasses-like sales of the Tundra, but that fullsize entrant sold 7,890 units in January and 10,988 in December 2013. Nissan sold 887 Titans in January, 1,284 in December 2013 and broke 2,400 US sales in a single month just once in four years. (The segment-leading Ford F-150, for reference, sold 46,536 units in January.)
An entry-level model and a regular cab option should give the Titan a welcome and overdue sales boost. Better power numbers and fuel economy for the V8 would probably go a long way, too. We expect to start getting glimpses of its future later this year.

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
