1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4WD automatic with 169,022 miles. Runs and drives very well. Shifts fine. The 4 wheel drive engages and disengages smoothly. Starts without an issue. No check engine light or "codes". I've owned this Pathfinder for years and I've simply run out of room in the driveway to park it (as you can see!). No reason to sell - just sick of shuffling it around. Garage kept for most of its life.

EVERYTHING WORKS. NO EXCUSES - turn key vehicle! The power sunroof works perfectly, the A/C blows ice cold, all of the power accessories (windows, locks, mirrors, ect.) work fine, heated mirrors still defrost. Upgraded Sony head unit because the factory one died. No blown speakers.

Drives nicely down the road. Brakes are good and stop well. Tires are all matching and have good tread. Shifts through all the gears smoothly - no slipping. Suspension doesn't have any creaks or groan and it absorbs bumps nicely. Fluids are all good - I have always kept up on maintenance.

The interior is in good condition for a vehicle of this age and mileage. Non-smoker. Normal wear and tear is present but it's definitely above average.

Exterior condition is also very good. No rust - something which is becoming increasingly less common as these Pathfinders age. Some light scratches and normal dings. No dents or other damage to note.

Overall this is a very solid, very drivable SUV that is a no excuses turn key purchase. I have been occasionally driving this to my office 30 miles each way just to make sure it doesn't sit - and it makes the drive perfectly each time!

This is USED vehicle. Due to the age and mileage it is sold AS-IS. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, ASK THEM BEFORE YOU BID! You're welcome, and encouraged, to come inspect and drive the vehicle before you bid.

A $500 deposit is due IMMEDIATELY upon the close of the auction. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 72 HOURS unless you otherwise make arrangements with me.

Good luck!

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge to cost over $100,000?

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

Enthusiasts have been clamoring for Infiniti to build a car like the Q50 Eau Rouge for years. In concept form, it employs the GT-R's much-loved 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, tuned to produce 560 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, with the whole works slid underneath fetching luxury sedan bodywork with carbon fiber aero aids. At this point, the model is rumored to be all but certain for production. The company recently even put Sebastian Vettel in one to show it off. However, Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen is suggesting that the model's lifetime could be brief, limited and rather expensive.
The Infiniti boss recently gave a long interview to Motor Trend that spilled a lot of beans about the Eau Rouge. While he refused to officially admit that the super sedan was on the way, he admits that he's "pushing the Eau Rouge concept for commercialization."
According to de Nysschen, if built, the production version will hew closely to the concept with the engine from the GT-R, but the seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system will come from the Q70. And while that would make the Eau Rouge a performance powerhouse, it might also be a rarity on the road:

Nissan reveals NP300 Navara pickup, is it the next Frontier? [w/videos] [UPDATE]

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

UPDATE: Statement from Nissan added, below.
After plenty of teasing, Nissan has finally revealed the NP300 Navara pickup, previewing America's next Frontier. Now, before we dive into all the info on this new midsize pickup, it's important to note that we don't quite have the official details on the American-spec truck, so there's quite a bit of information here that might not carry through to the North American market.
Depending on the market, the Navara will offer either a four-cylinder diesel or a four-cylinder gas engine, both of which displace 2.5 liters. Nissan claims both engines have been improved, with the oil-burner producing 188 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. There aren't specific figures on the gas engine, although we should expect that it will see a nice bump from the current Frontier's four-cylinder, which offers up 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. It's not clear if a V6 will be available in the US, as there's no mention of it in the Navara's literature.

Is the Chevy Camaro Z/28 a Godzilla Slayer at the track?

Sat, 29 Mar 2014

Godzilla. It's a name that strikes fear in the minds and hearts of giant monsters (Mothra!) worldwide, not to mention a number of automobile manufacturers that produce high-performance coupes... including Chevrolet. The Bowtie-cladded company has one rather obvious model that lines up squarely in the sights of the Nissan GT-R, that being the Corvette.
Interestingly, though, Chevy's halo coupe isn't the vehicle the boys from Motor Trend decided to match up at Barber Motorsports Park against the Japanese Godzilla, opting instead for the brand-new Camaro Z/28. A glance at the spec sheet of the Z/28 clears up any consternation regarding MT's choice - more horsepower for the Nissan, more torque for the Chevy and roughly the same weight means they are on pretty equal ground when it comes to what's under the hood.
The rest of the spec sheet looks to tilt the argument in the GT-R's favor (especially considering that MT's test car is a Track Edition model), as it boasts all-wheel-drive traction, a quick-shifting six-speed dual-clutch transmission and a price tag that's about $40,000 higher than that of the Z/28. Oh, and don't forget the GT-R's legendary computer-controlled reflexes. Does any of that matter with a professional race car driver like Randy Pobst behind the wheel? Scroll down and watch the video to find out.
