SHUCKS!

An older driver spaced and did not signal a left hand turn, nor indicate w hazards that she was stopped in a public highway.

The car has suspension damage on the front passenger side that is too much for us, plus the crumpled hood, fender and ruined
bumper and headlights.  Passenger headlight is whole, but don't know if it works.  There is a bit of damage on the end of the plastic
mounting bracket but that may not impede it's use.

As you can see from the photos, lots and lots of car left if anyone needs it for body parts, interior items and the
  ALMOST NEW SNOW TIRES!

Just inspected, new front brakes and only 119K on the motor and tranny which were running GREAT

We cannot guarantee anything regarding the condition of these, except looking under the hood there appears
to be very little damage beyond denting of the radiator and a crumpled windshield wiper fluid container - and possibly the coolant reservoir.

Clean interior.  The front windshield did crack, but the rear is in good shape as are all the windows.  All doors and locks worked,
but the passenger side is displaced.  May still work perfectly, just is out of alignment.

Email for more info if needed.

On Apr-07-13 at 16:15:56 PDT, seller added the following information:

OOPS - the mileage is actually 119,380K, not 119,100K

the interior is SOFT GREY ,  not tan.
and I meant it is the DRIVER'S side headlamp which is relatively intact
-NOT the passenger's - which would have taken a mega miracle - (ie, an Angel removed it before the impact)
                  to have survived this incident.

Sorry for the misinformation!

NHTSA probing whether to call Nissan to the carpet over Versa unintended acceleration

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

The Nissan Versa and Versa Note may have a carpeting problem that could make the little cars risky to drive. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching a preliminary evaluation into the 2012-2014 model year versions of the Versa, Versa Sedan and Versa Note, affecting an estimated 360,000 vehicle. In these vehicles, it's possible that the driver's foot could be caught where the carpet meets a trim panel near the accelerator. The regulator has four reported instances of the issue, but it's still collecting data from Nissan about any further cases.
According to the complaints, the tunnel carpet cover trim panel can possibly snag the drivers' right shoe where it meets the carpet, and can either keep their foot on the accelerator or prevent moving it to the brake pedal. In one case, the problem was bad enough that the driver had to free his foot using his hand, while driving. In two of the four reported cases, the vehicles were rental cars.
This is actually the second ongoing preliminary evaluation for some of these models. In late May, NHTSA started looking into the 2013-2014 Versa and 2014 Versa Note for long brake pedal travel.

2014 Nissan Dayz Roox is the littlest high-roof van you ever did see

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

Even average production cars from Japan often seem very conceptual to US eyes. Throw in typical, nonsensical-quasi-English-words name like "Dayz Roox" and you'd be forgiven for thinking this Nissan box on wheels was still a designer's dream. But the fact is that the Nissan Dayz is a model currently on sale, and this Roox version is the latest take on the micro-van, which is a popular segment in Japan.
In fact, this generation of Dayz is the first minicar that Nissan has developed completely in-house, and the thing has been selling astoundingly well in its first stint on the market (30k units in month one month, says Nissan). So it's unsurprising that the company is looking to expand the range with a model that is more fully featured.
The Roox (we have no clue as to where that name came from, or what it means) would appear to be a high-roof version of the three-cylinder Dayz minicar - in fact Nissan goes so far as to call it an "Impressive Super Height Wagon." Features like automatic sliding doors, Around View Monitor and UV-insulated glass are all luxuries in kei-class car. The press release also specifies that the Roox is tall enough to swallow a 27-inch bicycle.

MI man injured in crazy Nissan Titan crash caught on video

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Earlier today, a man from Kentwood, Michigan was seriously injured after a bizarre accident on Interstate 96 outside of Lansing. While he's expected to make a full recovery, it's the footage captured by another driver that makes this incident so remarkable.
The 59-year-old driver of the Nissan Titan involved in the crash was towing a trailer when he hit the median and was catapulted over a guardrail into a local creek. A driver that was traveling alongside caught the entire incident on Vine, creating a disturbing loop of the truck flying through the air, before disappearing from view.
The man was recovered by rescue services, taken to a hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery. It's unclear what caused him to lose control and end up on the median. Scroll down for the six-second Vine video.
