2004 Nissan Sentra Ser! 2.5 Eng, Auto, Needs Work, No Reserve!! Don"t Run! Nr!! on 2040-cars
Milford, Pennsylvania, United States
THIS IS FOR PARTS OR FIX!!! YOUR CHOICE!!!!!!! This car does not POWER UP AT ALL!!!!!! The mileage is UNKNOWN because I can't get it to power up, even with a good battery or a jump. The only thing I have got to work was the low beam headlights and that was as far as I checked (turned the switch). The mileage as of 12/15/2010 was 80k so it's a guess. I bought the car like this shortly ago and to me it seems many people have tried to work on it. It is the SER model so it has the bigger engine, nicer options like power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, cruise, cd, fog lights, nicer rims and so on. The front drivers headlight has a big crack, the windshield has a 2 big cracks, the passenger doors have a crease and rear bumper is dinged. This car is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. I encourage all potential buyers to come and look or ask questions. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION AND I WILL SELL. It has a clean and clear NY title signed and ready to go. GOOD LUCK!!!! NO SHIPPING !!!! Pick-up is at zip 18337. |

2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo to pack 595 hp, lap N"urburgring in 7:08
Mon, 18 Nov 2013With two major auto shows taking place this week on different sides of the globe, the amount of news being posted across the internet is reaching a fever pitch. Naturally, things happen, trigger fingers get itchy and stories get leaked, which is apparently how we came across this spate of premature pictures and information on the eagerly anticipated Nissan GT-R Nismo.
Packing 595 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque from its twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter V6, the Nismo-fied GT-R should be a serious kick in the pants when run hard. The new power is thanks to a number of donor parts from the GT-R Nismo GT3 racecar, bits that include larger turbochargers, revised intake and exhaust systems and new ignition timing.
Thanks to the engine enhancements, and, we imagine, a few other tweaks to the chassis, brakes and aerodynamics that have yet to be published, the GT-R Nismo is said to blitz the Nürburgring in just 7:08, a mere 11 seconds slower than the $845,000 Porsche 918 Spyder. For a car that is rumored to cost well under a quarter of the price, that performance is just immense.
Watch this mobility scooter drag race a Nissan Skyline with surprising results
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Okay, so we may not be talking about a classic, all-conquering Nissan Skyline GT-R here. But the sub-Godzilla-trim Nissan Skyline GTS-T is still a car, after all. And, as a car, if someone asked you to lay a bet on it versus a mobility scooter (Hoveround, Rascal, you know the type) in a drag race, you'd probably take that action.
Unless, of course, that drag race were happening on YouTube, in which case you'd put your money away and open up your laptop. On the Internet it's best to never bet against the wild underdog.
We don't mean to spoil the following video for you, but come on. When you saw Skyline vs. Scooter in that headline, you had a pretty good idea of what was to come, didn't you. Needless to say, mobility scooters fitted with Suzuki GSX-600F engines are pretty quick. Strap in and scroll down.
This tiny 1.5L engine from Nissan makes 400 horsepower
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Back in 2012, Ford packed its tiny 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder in a carry-on suitcase, destined for use in the Fiesta here in the US. In June, Nissan will pack its tiny new three-cylinder engine in a 24 Hours of Le Mans racecar. Nissan's don't-call-me-DeltaWing ZEOD RC racecar will still be able to tackle a single lap under full electric power, but the rest of the time it will be powered by the new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
Holding the lightweight engine (at right) is Nismo president Shoichi Miyatani, and he's likely smiling because that 40-kilogram (88-pound) engine packs quite a punch with 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Nissan would like to take a moment to point out this engine's power-to-weight is better than the engines currently used in Formula One racecars. Scroll down for more information on this new race engine, which we'll see in action at Le Mans in June.
