1987 Pontiac Trans Am, T-top, Red, Automatic, V8 on 2040-cars
Perham, Maine, United States
1987 Pontiac Trans Am, has a v8 305, it's not the original motor to the car as the motor is carb'd now. Car starts and runs good. It's an automatic, and has power windows, along with tilt. Car also has T-tops that work really nicely. I've driven it a few times with no problems. Car does need some TLC, everything appears to be there, but some things need replacing. Both flip up lights work!!! as I know that is a big problem with most of these cars. The interior should just be redone, someone has put some new black in some places, but the seats need to be replaced or atleast re upholstered, they have ripped spots and someone has taped them to fix them, mostly just the driveseat, but it'd look a lot nicer if it was all replaced. Dash a few small cracks in it, as most of these older cars do. Exterior is red, but the paint is becoming faded in the front on the hood and surrounding area's that see a lot of sun.. If it doesn't sell in this auction I may end up doing some of the body work and repainting it before relisting it. It has a dent on either side in the rear, both are shown in pictures.
ALL sales are Final. If you have a question please ask it before bidding. Car will come with a bill of sale Car is sold as is with no warranties in any way shape or form.

Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
