This car has 84,000 actual miles and the Engine runs great . I actually enjoy the car. I recently got married and between us, we need to "thin the herd". It has the v-6 3.8 engine. Transmission is in great shape . Interior is in very good condition considering the car is 12 years old. The car is pretty clean. It has a book value from Kelly Blue book private owner right around $7100.00 that would be in very good condition which I believe it is (although my reserve is way below that). The roof is perfect with no leaks at all. Here is what is wrong with it....

It has a crack in the windshield. It is a vertical crack about 7 inches all the way on the side on the drivers side and does not interfere with the driver vision at all (its been like that for 3 or 4 years). There is a crack on the door next to the key lock area which is from me opening the door and it hitting the plastic grocery cart holder at the food store. It has an indent of a scratch about 2" on the hood....all shown in the photos.

The best thing about this car is the fact that it gets 28 miles to the gallon!! 24 in the city and 28 on the highway. In fact, I mostly used it when taking country drives and roadtrips because it is reliable, comfortable and gets good gas mileage! I also have the boot for the convertible top when it is down. I've never used it and it is mint. I am the second owner so I don't know if he used it but it appears not to be used. This car is way nicer than a Sebring that is for sure!

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.

1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction

For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new.
