This is a real GTO, with NO RESERVE. Im thinning the heard. This car has the original 400 motor it was born with,in it and runs great. The trans shifts great. I just drove this car again today to get its pics taken and its a blast. The car is PHS documented. The paint on the car is brand new and looks great, The rear quarters have halfs put on an the trunk had some work other than that it seems real solid. The car has new factory replacement seat covers because the other ones were ripped. I has a new dash pad also, the convertibile top is new also, it has one small hole that was patched. It is a pwr top that works great. The head lights work great but the doors need the vacum hoses hooked to them. The wiper motor is bad and the heater core was by,passed. The windshield has some chips. The car looks really great the hood is very solid and the hood tach works great. The car was taken all apart and painted. The car has new door handels and window felts.and new rubber seals. I did not get the door seals because they were on back order. This car is good and solid now and is a great driver. I have the original intake, carb, air cleaner, exshust manafolds, trim ect all go with the car. if you have any ? please call 419-571-9777.

Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way
Tue, 21 Feb 2012There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.
eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
If you like what you see, this machine is up for bid in Richfield, Minnesota with two days left on the auctions. So far, bidding as whipped up to $60,000 with the reserve not met. Head over to eBay Motors to have a look.
