I have for a sale a beautiful car. 2008 is the last year they made the Grand Prix GXP, so it's truly the last of it's kind. I bought this car August of 2012 with mileage of mid 4X,XXX on it. I used to drive 70 miles round trip for work everyday, so unfortunately I put just about 20,000 miles on it in a year...63,000 miles still isn't bad for a 5 year old car. There is nothing to say about this car except good things. It's a beautiful looking car and it drives amazing. The power that this car has is truly awesome. I've been forced to sell because of financial hardship. Eve (the car) will be a perfect car for anyone who is willing to take care of her like I have. I've kept up with her maintenance by having new brakes and rotors installed October, 2012, oil changes and new tires August 2013. That's all I've ever had to do. I am asking $13,000 for the car, and that's pretty firm. Here is the link for the Kelly blue book listing; http://www.kbb.com/pontiac/grand-prix/2008-pontiac-grand-prix/gxp-sedan-4d/?vehicleid=197650&intent=trade-in-sell&options=2142518%7ctrue&mileage=63000&pricetype=private-party. As you can see I am asking a fair price. Keep in mind, this car would not be leaving my possession if there was not a loan on it. For any questions you can email me at m91harm@juno.com or you can call or text 309-351-2743. Also keep in mind that dealerships will price a car like this for closer to $15,000. Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions.

GM doing fine at retaining Pontiac owners
Fri, 28 Oct 2011This isn't the first time we've reported positive news about General Motors retaining former Pontiac owners. Get a few more stories like this latest report from Edmund's Auto Observer, and it will mark an ongoing positive trend for GM. Edmunds.com crunched the numbers to see how well the General is hanging on to customers after shutting out the lights at Pontiac, and it found that nearly 40 percent of Pontiac owners stayed with a vehicle from a General Motors brand.
The numbers are a little lower than an earlier R.L. Polk & Company study, but Edmunds says General Motors is keeping more former Pontiac buyers than it has since 2007. Most are turning to vehicles from Chevrolet, especially during January and February of 2011, when GM incentivized Pontiac owners to stay under the umbrella. Those moves seem to have worked, and 28.1 percent of Pontiac owners trading up made the jump into a Bowtie.
Buyers that have gone elsewhere have largely stayed loyal to Domestic automakers, with Ford picking up the most conquests from Pontiac, with 9.4 percent switching. Toyota and Honda picked up 7.4 percent of the pool of former Pontiac drivers. The numbers are defying any predictions that Pontiac buyers would completely exit the General Motors fold, and have climbed up closer to parity with the retention figures of other GM brands from a 2009 low of only 16 percent retention.
GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am
Mon, 13 May 2013No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.
