1972 Le Mans 2 door hardtop. Very nice driver. Originally a six cylinder car that has a built Chevy 350 engine with a th350 transmission. Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carburetor. Dual exhaust with flowmasters and chrome tips. Body is all original panels with rust through around all 4 wheel wells at top edge. A little bondo around rear wheel well on passenger side, car was hit on front side of wheel well, with minor damage before I got it. I sanded the area down and painted to prevent more rust. Hood is good, sanded down top side because paint was thin and wanted to preserve. Quarters need just patch panels at bottom. Drop downs are good except right behind wheels. Car has original Quezal Gold paint from factory. Top is original white paint color from factory. Trunk and floors solid. Interior is in great shape except for driver side seat is worn and torn. All windows and glass are original and work great. Gauges, turn signals and lights all functional, has been inspected and licensed. Rally IIs with brand new tires. Heater hoses there but not hooked up, still has heater core. Because this car is complete, it is a great candidate for a restore or whatever you want to do with it. It is a fast car and drives good. If you have any questions, e-mail me and I will get back to you ASAP. If you want to ask me questions over the phone, request to call me in e-mail and I will send you my phone number.

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes
Wed, 31 Oct 2012It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
This 1927 Oakland is a minimalist hot rod
Fri, 21 Feb 2014There are hundreds of American automakers that sprung up during the dawn of the automotive era, only to fold into obscurity or get gobbled up by what would eventually become the Big Four (yes, we're counting AMC here). Oakland is one such company, which was the forbearer for General Motors' Pontiac division. Sold until 1931, you simply don't see Oakland-badged cars anymore. Unless, that is, you know Brian Bent.
Bent drives a 1927 Oakland that still rides on wooden wheels. Its original wooden wheels, from the sound of it. That makes this anachronist and his Oakland the perfect subject for a Petrolicious video. Like many of the cars highlighted by Petrolicious, this old Oakland has had some work done to it, featuring a Pontiac flathead engine that's been pushed forward and a clutch pack built by Bent.
Take a look below for a closer look at this rare and fascinating Oakland.
Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?
Wed, 07 Oct 2009 DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.
