2001 Ram Air T/A, T-Tops, 6 speed factory Hurst. Nice condition everything works except the power antenna, which is in the up position. I have kept the car serviced with synthetic motor oil, engine purrs with a custom exhaust. I had the clutch replaced 2k miles ago. mechanic said that the old one was fine, but it felt weak to me. I had the air conditioning system redone at the same time, compressor, condensor all new. New altenator 2 months ago.  All new tie rods on both sides, 4 new Nitro tires and front end alignment when I had that done. There is nothing I know that needs to be done. Custom paint job was completed 2 years ago, silver with charcoal trim, the front was not primed correctly and there are some spyder cracks that will need to be redone if you want the car perfect. The interior is nice with only the tear in the driver seat on the side as you enter, (normal wear location), there is a crack on both door panels at the location where they all crack. Dash is perfect, all guages, radio/CD player work. Headliner very good. All rubber seal goods condition with no water leaks.  I was planning to keep this car as a collector, but I have been deployed overseas and do not need the storage fees for 4 years. This is my daily driver and is a southern Georgia car with no rust whatsoever. I have left the car at my brother's house in Maryland while I am away and for him to sell while I am gone. He will be happy to show or take you for a test drive. This car has a Georgia rebuilt title and I included a pictur of it. I bought this car from a dealer in Georgia two years ago and I will miss it, The car is very fast and I would not recommend it to be bought for a young driver. I have a 100 feedback so bid in confidence. The $6500 buy it now is a steal.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

Mon, 13 May 2013

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.
