Here is your chance to own a really rare GTA. If you are a collector and know anything about the GTA's than you know that this may be the rarest GTA that pontiac has ever made. This the first year that the GTA was produced. This GTA has all matching numbers and it has no bondo and has no rust at all. This car could be one of the best looking unrestored GTA's out there. A little history on this car. When this car was made you could not get this car  factory with the 350 and t-tops in the united states. and yes if you do the vin decoder on this car you will see that its did come factory with the 350 and T-tops. The digital dash is another rare feature that came factory with this car and not many GTA's had the digital dash and pontiac only put them in some in 87 and 88. If you take a close look at the factory spoked wheels you will also notice that 87 was the only year that they used that style of spoked rim. Pontiac changed the style of the rim and was used up till 1992. Also if you notice the factory t-tops also open up as sunroofs too that was another rare feature that pontiac only  used on a select few GTA's. It also has 4 whhel disc brakes. and has the 9 bolt limited slip rearend. It also has the eletric pull down hatch and the push button release for the hatch on the dash panel. The factory radio is the one that has the graphic eq. All the acessories are all in working condition as well as the power antena.

The car has an aftermarket cold air intake and has a aftermarket radio but i do have the factory radio and factory cold air intake that will come with the car. the factory radio does work fine. I did take and replace the factory speakers with memphis speakers for the front and back. The tires on the car have atleast 75% tread in them. I did replace the factory exhaust with a 3 inch stainless bora exhaust and makes the car sound beautiful . The engine is in great running shape. has always been well taken care of and has alot of power. The care has all options that you could get from the factory and that includes pw,pl,pm, lumbar seats a folding up rear view mirror. rear defogers, air conditioning. WS6 high performance suspension package. has all new brakes and rotors all the way around.  I have also put all new plugs and wires as well as new distributior cap and rotor.

There is some cosmestics on the interior that would need to have done to make this a prastine condition vehicle. There is a ding on the hood also from where a rock had hit it. In the one pic i have added where the engine cradle is u will c that it may look to someone that there may be a oil leak. i just want to let everyone know thats not the case at all. that is just from changing the oil over the years.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and i thank you for looking.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

1969 Pontiac GTO Judge vs. 2006 GTO, which Goat gets your vote?

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

The Pontiac GTO was perhaps the most iconic muscle car of the '60s and early '70s. With its beefy V8 and color palette screaming for attention, it summarized in a single vehicle everything that made the era so appealing to many young people. Pontiac tried to collect just a few drops of that aura again in the 2000s with a revived GTO, but with decidedly mixed results. The performance was still there with its big V8, but the looks never quite lived up to the powertrain. Now, Generation Gap wants to know which of these Goats is the one to own.
Things are skewed immediately because the 2006 GTO here is a real ringer. It comes from famous tuner Ken Lingenfelter's collection, and it's a one-off example partially fettled by GM Performance boasting a twin-turbocharged LS2 V8 with a claimed 750 horsepower and a wide-body kit. This Goat definitely isn't what you're going to find just browsing for one to buy in the newspaper. Still, dip the throttle just a little, and this GTO pulls like a freight train. It's enough to turn the two hosts into giggling schoolboys behind the wheel.
The '69 GTO Judge here is also out of Lingenfelter's collection, but this one is all stock with a 400-cubic-inch (6.6-liter) V8 and a Ram Air hood for a claimed 366 hp. It might not have the unbelievable power of the turbo '06, but it makes up for it with style to spare.
