All Wheel Drive,, just in time for Winter! We bought this car as a GM Certified Used Car and the balance of the 5 year 100,000 mile Powertrain Limited Warranty with Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation remains and is transferable. Excellen fuel economy on regular grade fuel. It is amazing how much power they get out of dual overhead cam with variable valve timing!   I am 6'4 and amazed that I still have heardoom even seated in the back seat!   Suprising how roomy the car is.  The Vibe and the Toyota Matrix were built in a joint vention between Chevy and Toyota. It has never given us a moment of trouble in the 3 years we have owned it. It came with a Clean CARFax and I know it still has one because nothing has happened to the car since we bought it. We have always kept it in the garage. Just installed new set of Goodyear Eagle tires at the GM Dealer. Have maint. records. I have always used fully synthetic oil. It has the factory sunroof, roof rack, and Chrome Wheels.   It's pretty neat that my wife can plug in her iPhone4 to the radio to play music and conversations thru the cars audio system.. We will include the cord if you want it. My wife has been very careful about where she parks it and thus during the 3 years we have owned it, it has only collected 1 door ding. Everything works as it should.  Interior is in Super condition.  Front bumper has a few small paint chips missing due to road travel,,could be touched up by a detail guy.  Since it is for sale locally,  if it sales thru craigslist or cars.com,  after it sells I will take down the ebay listing.   Why are we selling?   We don't want to,, would rather keep the car, but we just bought a new Chevy Volt electric and can afford to keep both vehicles.  For our AWD needs, we are keeping our Chrysler Town and Country Limited AWD minivan.  It doesnt get near the fuel economy as the Vibe, but the minvan is older and paid off.

  Thanks for looking!

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
