Original owner, 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S with factory aerokit cup and powerkit upgrades. I purchased this car two
years ago because I couldn't find a GT3 and this was the closest thing to it. Now that I have purchased a 2015 GT3,
the Carrera S is for sale. This is a seven speed manual with amazing rev matching capabilities and upgraded to 435
horsepower. This car has never been tracked and hasn't been beyond 6500 RPMs. The sticker price for this car when
new was $131,465 and options include - black leather front seats, PDCC with PASM sport suspension, electric
sunroof, sport seats plus, Carrera S powerkit, aerokit cup, bi-xenon headlights and ornamental Porsche crest. The
car is still under its original warranty which is good for four years,50,000 miles. It is a beautiful car that has
been professionally maintained and kept on a battery tender and in a climate controlled facility.

2015 Porsche Macan Turbo
Mon, 06 Jan 2014The misinformation first started back in May of 2007 - more than six years ago - when word came that Porsche was developing a compact utility vehicle to fill out its product line. Rumors swirled that the German automaker's future "Roxster" would be based on the then-upcoming Audi Q5. By September of 2010, the name had changed to "Cajun," but the vehicle was still expected to be "based heavily on the Audi Q5," said reports in the months that followed. One year later, the first test mules were spotted, the mechanics hidden beneath barely disguised Audi sheetmetal, which did nothing to give the upcoming model its own identity. And even after Porsche announced "Macan" as the vehicle's production name in early 2012, articles stated that it would "arrive on the same chassis as the Audi Q5, though with suspension, brake and engine tweaks suitable to the Porsche range."
It's no wonder that most still consider the all-new Porsche Macan nothing more than a heavily massaged Q5.
To help lift some of the mystery surrounding its latest release, Porsche hosted us in Germany for an in-depth look at its new crossover (while Europeans call it a "sport utility," its car platform allows us to call it a proper CUV). The technology workshop offered us insight to the design and mechanical execution, and it concluded with a short test ride. The trip was both enlightening and educational - and it left us with a whole new perspective on the Macan.
Take a POV hot lap in the Porsche 918 Spyder
Mon, 14 Apr 2014That title about says it all. This is a hot lap of the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX, with Porsche Works Driver Patrick Long at the wheel of a Porsche 918 Spyder. The camera is basically showing us everything that Long sees, making this not just one of the coolest 918 videos we've seen, but also one of the neatest laps of CoTA.
As Long peers through the bends, so will you. You'll see him fight the wheel, and find out just how difficult it is to hustle this hybrid hypercar around a world-class track at speed. It's pretty darn entertaining. There are also a few scattered shots of the 918's exterior just to break up the interior awesomeness, although we aren't exactly complaining about those. Take a look below for the short video from Porsche.
Porsche reveals first Macan driving and manufacturing footage
Fri, 13 Dec 2013One of the more anticipated offerings of the upcoming year, Porsche's sporty baby Cayenne, the 2015 Macan, has already earned nods of approval from a number of Autoblog staffers. We named it one of the top five debuts at last month's LA Auto Show, citing its 400-horsepower turbocharged engine and other sporty bits as good reasons to get excited about Stuttgart's latest.
And while our first test may be many months away, we're keeping our ears to the ground for any information on Porsche's compact crossover. We're especially keen on stuff like this - our first look at the new model in motion and undergoing assembly at its Leipzig plant. Both are shorter videos, and while there's little of the glorious engine noise we've already been teased with, the videos do offer a great look at the handsome Macan on the road, as well as glimpse at Porsche's state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
Scope out the videos below and let us know what you think.
