Here is my 1992 Porsche coupe that has been highly modified for greater performance. I bought this car off of a customer of mine who  never completed the project. every single performance part that has been installed on this car has 0 miles on it. Car has  brand-new Bilstein PS9 coil over suspension. The wheels and tires are brand-new with 0 miles on them they are 17 inch replica C2 turbo wheels with Michelin pilot sport tires. the brakes are brand-new using 993 TwinTurbo front calipers and rotors with pagid pads all around. The rear calipers are 944 Turbo front calipers with 968 rear rotors. The brake system has brand-new fluid in it along with brand-new stainless steel flex lines. The transmission is completely rebuilt with a Quaffe limited slip differential installed. The engine is a Protomotive TwinTurbo 3.6 L stage II engine . It just received a complete top end rebuild to fix oil leaks. It also has had  a light port job done to the heads. All the right parts were used putting this together.. 993 TT intake boots,RSR rockershaft seals, factory gaskets and all new hardware. The heads are machined to except flame rings for higher boost levels. This engine has a brand-new Protomotive fuel pressure regulator along with their chip installed for ECU.  This engine is using a GT3 single mass flywheel and a high-performance aluminum pressure plate. The interior has been completely redone and looks brand-new. I am including in this sale all of the turbo conversion parts pictured as well. To complete this car the turbo system will need to be built and installed. There are many other additional things that have been done but there is too much to list please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

Leno steals Porsche 918 from The Quail for latest Garage episode

Sat, 31 Aug 2013

Just because he's a famous celebrity doesn't mean Jay Leno got to take it easy at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance earlier this month. Having already spent some time with the gorgeous Cadillac Elmiraj Concept and Ed Welburn for a recent episode of Jay Leno's Garage, the late night talk show host also got to put a few miles on a prototype version of the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Like a usual episode of JLG, Leno first goes over the details of the car with Frank Walliser, head of the 918 Spyder's development, before taking it out for spin. Check out the full episode, which is posted below, to hear what Walliser has to say about the car. More importantly, though, crank up your computer's volume and let the car's high-revving engine and amazing exhaust note do plenty of talking for itself.

Porsche 911 and Citro"en DS lovechild would look like this

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

The early Porsche 911 and the Citroën DS were two cars produced in the same era (though the DS launched in 1955, nearly 10 years before the 911), but they were vastly different from each other. The 911 was a uniquely German, pure-bred sports car, while the French-built DS had four doors and focused more on ride quality than sporting intentions. That made it all the more surprising when we came across the 911DS, a creation that binds the rear half of the Citroën to the front of an early, longhood 911.
The folks at Brandpowder are behind the creation, which we surmise was an exercise in design rather than an actual, completed project (some of the images look Photoshopped), but it's compelling nonetheless, with a turbocharged flat-six providing 260 horsepower. We hope someone builds it - though we're sure if that happened the early 911 crowd would cry afoul at one of its increasingly rare and valuable Porsches being grafted onto an old French car.
But as Brandpowder points out lightheartedly, perhaps the creation could transcend popular car culture: "The 911DS represents the effort of two countries, a genuine attempt to join their energy and talent into one thing. We hope Germany and France will be inspired by Brandpowder's story, as a metaphor for a better and greater Europe."

Porsche 911 GT2 caught testing, is super bad

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Look what spy photographers have spotted sprinting around the Nürburgring. Our shooters nabbed a few photos of the all-new Porsche 911 GT2 in its native habitat without any of the bulky camouflage or cladding we're used to seeing. The result is our first truly clear view at the upcoming successor to the GT2 throne. From the looks of it, the new model will boast wider fender arches front and rear, and hefty air intakes set into the machine's hips should help feed a beastly 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine. Early guesses put the engine output somewhere around 560 horsepower.
Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the engine should propel this rear-engined heathen to 62 miles per hour in under three seconds. Top speed? Try somewhere around 200 mph. If that's true, the next-generation 911 GT2 will be the fastest 911 in Porsche history.
