2000 Boxster, Second Owner, Nice Condition, Low Mileage, Sports Package

This Boxster is in very nice condition with just 39,000 miles on it. It has always been under covered parking and has always been maintained by the Porsche dealerships.

The Boxster has never been in any accidents, comes complete with all original documentation including the original window sticker. It has new tires. The top and interior leather is in excellent condition. Paint is also excellent. The only issues are the left window will not go down currently and may need attention. Also it appears the digital speedometer does not light up, and may need a back light replaced. Otherwise the car is in excellent condition and I have never had any issues with the vehicle.

I am the second owner of this Boxster and have owned it for about 10 years. It has always been reliable, gets good fuel economy, and fun to drive. It has the Triptronic Automatic Transmission which is awesome and the only way to go - the era of the manual transmission is over. The color combination is very cool - Biarritz White with black interior provides a nice looking classy contrast. It is equipped with the Sports Package and 17 inch wheels. The next owner will be getting a nice car, and I hate to see it go, but I have accumulated too many vehicles and need to thin out the collection.

The 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S brings 50 extra ponies to Detroit

Porsche has announced a new version of its popular SUV today at the Detroit Auto Show: the 550-horsepower 2014 Cayenne Turbo S.
This newly minted "flagship" of the Cayenne lineup is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine, and offers 50 hp more than the Cayenne Turbo. Performance figures are impressive for the sleek utility vehicle: 0-60 miles per hour can be dashed off in 4.3 seconds, while maximum speed is rated at 175 mph. The Turbo S also gets dynamic chassis control, torque vectoring and Porsche's Sport Chrono package - all standard equipment.
Visually the Cayenne Turbo S differentiates itself from the lesser models in pretty subtle ways. Gloss black trim decorates the gawping front air intakes, as well as rear-view mirror trim panel. The SUV also wears 21-inch Turbo II wheels, a la the 911 Turbo.

Nick Murray's problematic Porsche 911 shows the power of a viral video

When Nick Murray took delivery of his 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S in June 2013, he had saved for it for the past five years. He didn't just pluck a random 911 off a dealer lot. He specially ordered his car with thousands of dollars in extras tailored just to him, and he captured all of the options on his YouTube channel. The love affair didn't last long. Eventually the channel became a place for Nick to air his growing list of grievances about his deteriorating 911. Eventually, his mix of righteous indignation and sarcasm went viral.
By late December, he had already had four warranty repairs done on the car. Things got much worse in March. The computers began resetting whenever Nick drove over large bumps. There was also an acrid, electrical smell that occasionally permeated the cabin. Murray filed for Lemon Law protection. Porsche Cars North America contacted him for the first time to fix the problem, but it didn't help.
Things culminated in April when Murray put up a new video that showed more troubles. He began arbitration with Porsche and asked for either his full purchase price back or an exact replacement. The company countered with a portion of what the car was worth, based on its mileage. Murray refused and turned to his YouTube watchers for help. He asked them to spread the word, and the video went viral with over 800,000 views as of this writing. Supporters posted it multiple times on Porsche's Facebook and Twitter sites.
