Hello, 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo, lots of great options 29,767 Highway miles Pampered California car, kept garaged & covered Full Porsche Factory bumper to bumper warranty until 100,000 Miles or May 2018 I have all documents, booklets, 2 keys, and the original build sheet with totals $154,000 Car is perfect, in extremely clean shape. Does not need brakes or tires. Just delivered from sunny California, never driven in snow or on a track. Never abused. With 500 horsepower you still can get 29mpg cruising on the highway. I can't think of another car that can do this. My last 500hp car got about 10mpgon the highway. This Panamera Turbo was originally built & ordered by a Porsche general manager, whoobviously knew what he was doing when choosing colors & options. It can be toughto find a pre-owned Porsche that was built tastefully. Look no further. It was an earlylease turn in, I got the car when it was just 18 months old and purchased from RusnakPasadena. Before owning the Panamera Turbo I had a Tesla S P85 and a Ferrari 612.I had to make a couple mistakes before landing with the best all around vehicle money can buy. This is the only true daily driver supercar that suited my needs, and I can't tell you what a joy it has been to own this car. I truly love the car. I went in to buy a Cayanne but after learning about all the space in the Panamera, and seeing how the rear seats go down, the choice was a no-brainer. The power and handling are simply incredible. Heated & cooled seats. Heated steering wheel. Phenomenal Burmester stereo. Sport mode and Sport plus mode. 3 different very useful suspension settings, alcanteraheadliner, sunroof, 20" black turbo wheels. The paint is dark blue metallic. The windows are tinted, the windshield is also lightly tinted for UV protection. My favorite feature of these cars is the PDK transmission, it's the best auto transmission ofall time, it's simply amazing to drive. It's an incredible fast, seamless & intelligent transmission. EXTRASThe car is in near mint condition, as it should be, and includes: 4 years remaining wheel & tire insurance $9954 years remaining ding removal insurance $995Xzilon treatment inside & out $995Front clear bra $1295CPO Porsche factory warranty to 100K miles Much care was given when driving, the front bumper is not scratched and is in fine shape. The car has no issues to speak of, it looks, feels and smells like a brand new car.

See what the Chevy C7 ZR1 may be benchmarked against

Tue, 07 May 2013

One of the greatest things every Corvette has had going for it, and also one of the most re-used arguments against it, is its price-to-performance equation - long before the Nissan GT-R became the de facto Porsche 911 comparator the Corvette spent decades as Exhibit A. Depending on which side of the argument you stressed, supporters crowed about how much performance you got for how (comparatively) little, detractors carped on how little you got everywhere else in the bargain.
It appears Chevrolet is working as hard as ever to render the argument meaningless. Spy shooters at KGP captured a convocation of European birds of prey leaving the General Motors test center, and aimed at benchmarking the C7 Corvette ZR1. The road train comprised of two C7 Corvette Stingrays, a 2013 Corvette ZR1, McLaren MP4-12C, Ferrari 458 Italia, Audi R8 V10 Spyder and Porsche 911 Carrera S and it was last seen heading down the same kinked-up back roads used to hone the Corvette Stingray.
The C7-series ZR1 and its possible 700 horsepower are still a ways off. If it really is being positioned to compete with the celestial exotica in the testing group, could it be the first Corvette to regularly be the first answer to the question "Cost no object, which would would you rather have?"

Take a POV hot lap in the Porsche 918 Spyder

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

That title about says it all. This is a hot lap of the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX, with Porsche Works Driver Patrick Long at the wheel of a Porsche 918 Spyder. The camera is basically showing us everything that Long sees, making this not just one of the coolest 918 videos we've seen, but also one of the neatest laps of CoTA.
As Long peers through the bends, so will you. You'll see him fight the wheel, and find out just how difficult it is to hustle this hybrid hypercar around a world-class track at speed. It's pretty darn entertaining. There are also a few scattered shots of the 918's exterior just to break up the interior awesomeness, although we aren't exactly complaining about those. Take a look below for the short video from Porsche.

Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
- Audi R8 V10 Plus
