This is the one you have been waiting for!! 2001 Dodge ram 2500 4 door automatic with only 152484 easy miles. This truck has never been goosnecked or turned up. The motor is completly stock as it came from the factory! Never been dogged or abused! Many of the trucks you have been looking at either are turned up to the max or have been turned wide open and treated like a rental car. Grandpa drove this truck to work and occasionally pulled his boat with it. It is regularly serviced and maintained. It had a injection pump replaced at around 100k with an upgraded vp44. The engine cranks and runs smoothly. The exhaust sounds like it should (not like a combine). The transmission shifts perfectly. The batteries are in great shape and fire the 5.9 off with no problem. The interior looks great with exception to a small tear on the edge of the driver's seat and a few cracks in the dash. The dash has a cover on it so its undetectable. These are problems common with this generation of trucks. The tires are in good shape and the paint shines up well. The bed has a dealer installed bed liner installed and no tool box. The grill guard is stainless and has driving lights. This truck will make someone an awesome ride that will probably last forever if the same level of maintenance and care is kept up. This vehicle is also listed locally so if it disappears sorry about your luck. Look at the other dogs that have been beaten like a rented mule and used in sled pull competitions and compare them to pops truck, Im sure you will see the difference.
Good luck!

Chevy ramping Silverado incentives after Ram beats it in March
Sat, 05 Apr 2014General Motors isn't losing the pickup war without a fight. With the Silverado narrowly falling to third place in the truck segment in March, Chevrolet has announced that it is going to continue its Truck Month pricing through the end of April. In addition to those incentives, some Chevy pickups are going to see even deeper discounts, according to Automotive News.
General Motors Sales Reporting spokesperson Jim Cain says the reason for extending the sale is simple. "It worked," he said. The Silverado's sales were up 6.8 percent for March, which is a big win for a truck with sales down 7.6 percent for the year so far. "Last month we handily beat expectations," he said. Cain attributed the success to having "a simple, straightforward message." He also claimed that the pickup was also able to see growth with lower incentives than competitors. With the weather warming and the economy improving, he thinks the Silverado has the momentum to improve further.
The Truck Month incentives knock as much as $7,541 off some Silverado models, and Chevy is planning even more incentives on top of that in April. "Okay - time to take the gloves off and go back and take back what rightfully belongs to every one of you ... Silverado truck sales," said an email sent to dealers from GM's district manager in the Northeast, received by Automotive News, announcing lower lease rates.
Superman-themed Ram Power Wagon hits the block for charity
Mon, 05 May 2014If you were tired of seeing Batman get all the cool cars while your favorite superhero was left to his own considerable devices, you may have been intrigued when Chrysler unveiled a special Ram Power Wagon last summer. Tied in to the premier of Man of Steel, the unique truck packed a blueish-grey vinyl wrap (textured like Superman's outfit), gloss-black accents, anodized red trim, 17-inch alloys and an interior decked out with Superman logos.
It was a nice tribute to the superest of superheros, but Ram only made the one, and it wasn't offered for sale. That is, at least, until now. With the movie's debut now long behind us, the one-off Power Wagon is being auctioned off to benefit LA Family Housing, a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged families in Southern California.
Citing our favorite car site, the online auction page places the donated vehicle's value at $112,674, but bidding as we go to press currently stands at $47,500 with three days remaining. Head on over to Charity Buzz to help out a worthwhile cause and give yourself the chance to get your hands on a one-of-a-kind vehicle and piece of cinematic history.
2013 Ram HD and Chassis Cab pickups are ready for work [UPDATE]
Thu, 27 Sep 2012Auto enthusiasts often point to the pony car wars as the last bastion of one-upsmanship among Detroit's automakers, but the truth is, the pickup wars are every bit as competitive - if not more so. Auburn Hills keeps a ready eye on what their rivals in Dearborn and Detroit are doing, and vice-versa. Today, that battle is renewed with the introduction of Ram's 2013 Heavy Duty and Chassis Cab lines at the State Fair of Texas. Why a state fair? The Banner State is the perfect battleground for pickup supremacy, as Texas accounts for one of every five pickups sold in the U.S.
Towing and hauling metrics are poised for a substantial improvement. "... and not just by a little bit."
On the HD front, Chrysler is boasting that its brand-new heavies will bring best-in-class towing, torque, payload and Gross Combined Weight Rating, but thus far, it's declining to cite what those figures are. For the moment, though, Fred Diaz, President and CEO of Ram told us at an Auburn Hills background event earlier this month that key towing and hauling metrics are poised for a substantial improvement. "And not just by a little bit. I think we're going to shock the world," said Diaz.
