You are bidding on a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow model year 1976. It is the long wheelbase model, has a recent paint job, a new radio and CD player, and club floor mats. She has no rust on the undercarriage, and we are non smokers. The tires, carpet, and upholstery are all in excellent condition. We are the second owners (the first owner was in Arizona and took immaculate care of the car) and have only driven it lightly around our city but we have driven her regularly. She is a real head turner and has gotten plenty of attention when we have driven her around our city. However she need some TLC. The a/c was running up until recently but then stopped. The automatic windows stick slightly but if you take your finger off the automatic window button then start it again, they will work. The back window must be closed from the driver's side. Please note we are selling our Rolls Royce AS IS. Please feel free to ask any questions and if you are seriously considering bidding on this car, we will gladly send more pictures. This car is local pickup only however, if you can arrange and pay for shipping of the car and are from outside our area, go for it. Winner is required to make a $1000 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. Thanks for reading and good luck!

Rolls-Royce developing new convertible
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Rolls-Royce is not a company that makes a lot of different vehicles, but of the ones it does, it tends to offer several versions. That's how we end up with sedan, long-wheelbase, coupe and (in the former's case) convertible versions of the Phantom and Ghost. And now Goodwood has confirmed development of another model.
Although details in the press release below are few and far between, it does promise to "deliver effortless, open-top touring... with an engaging and exhilarating driving experience." CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös added: "We are currently developing an exciting and thoroughly contemporary interpretation of a pinnacle drophead tourer which will introduce even more discerning men and women to Rolls-Royce ownership."
What that tells us is that the new model - set to reach showrooms "by mid-2016" - will be a convertible that's exciting to drive and more youthful than the Phantom Drophead Coupe. In other words, and in all likelihood, we're looking at the convertible version of the Ghost-based Wraith fastback (like the one we recently spotted undergoing testing, pictured above). Expect it, then, to carry the same 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12, but with the added rush of wind in your hair.
Six luxury-car features I'm ashamed to admit I love
Thu, 16 Oct 2014A hot compress felt wonderful on my sore back. The methodical kneading of my shoulder blades loosened the knots that formed over several hours of driving. The Swedish-style pulses firing into my lumbar region released more tension.
I wasn't getting a much-needed massage following a recent road trip. I was getting it during the road trip.
I grew up riding in the back seat of a 1976 Chevy Nova. But once you use these lux features, it's easy to go soft.
Rolls-Royce celebrates Goodwood with Chicane edition Phantom Coupe
Thu, 31 Oct 2013Of all the automakers out there, perhaps none scream "race track" as quietly as Rolls-Royce. But the British luxury automaker has its home near the Goodwood Motor Circuit, and has honored that proximity with its latest special edition.
Called the Chicane, it's based on the Phantom Coupe and is upgraded with a series of tastefully motorsport-inspired details. It's painted in gunmetal grey with a matte black hood and windshield frame, with matching gunmetal wheels - a modern Rolls-Royce first - and a red interior decked out with carbon-fiber trim and a checkered flag motif that's repeated on the exterior coachline.
The special one-off was commissioned by the dealership in Dubai and was created by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke division. Feel free to read more in the press release below.
