2006 Salsa Red Toyota Scion Xb Clean One-owner Car In Very Good Condition Look!! on 2040-cars
Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States
This is a 2006 SCION XB in Salsa Red metallic paint. I am the original owner of this car. It was purchased new in June of 2006. It is powered by a 4 Cyl, 1.5 liter engine with an automatic transmission. This car gets very good fuel milage! Its features are...Air conditioning, power locks, power windows, tilt wheel, AM FM CD player, tinted glass, traction control and ABS 4 wheel brakes. The original goodyear tires were replaced with the better Michelin tires at around 50,000 miles and still look good. It does have some minor paint scratches and one small dent (pictured) right behind the right front wheel opening, but it has no rust and has never been in an accident! Everything works great. I have all of the original paperwork including the window sticker! This car has had its oil changed between 3 and 4 thousand miles its whole life. The 2006 Scion XBs were not available with Cruise control, so we had it added to ours at the dealership. It is in excellent running condition and can be driven anywhere. Please look at all of the pictures to see just how nice this car is! Located in central Wisconsin. For any additional questions, Email or call 715 347 6323.

Toyota GT86 convertible could debut in March
Tue, 27 Nov 2012The dates are lining up, now we wait to see how the badges align. Just before the Toyota GT 86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ line-up was introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, there was a report that Subaru was considering a convertible while Toyota wouldn't even comment on it. That got swapped around when earlier this year the chief engineer on Toyota's side said a convertible was coming, and then a Scion FR-S droptop was confirmed for early 2014.
Autocar now reports that the Toyota GT 86 convertible will make its first appearance at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. In a car whose specs like weight, packaging, horsepower and center of gravity were all tightly controlled to get the most from the least, the changes necessitated by chopping the roof could make this a very different car. It's said to employ a fabric roof to keep a "small" weight gain check, and the suspension will be softened to work more harmoniously with the decreased body stiffness. And somewhere in all that the back seat and trunk space will need to take a hit.
In other news, Autocar says the hi-po GT 86 with some kind of capacitor system instead of batteries is being worked on for 2015.
Toyota GT86 GT4 racer is ready for UK competition
Tue, 05 Feb 2013It's about time we saw someone cook up a legitimate race version of the delectable Toyota GT86, and now it looks as if GPRM has done just that. The Buckingham-based race engineering team has built the creation you see here, complete with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder boxer cooked up by Nicholson McLaren Engines. The team says the new mill delivers between 360 and 400 horsepower to the rear wheels depending on final testing, which is a sight bit more than the 197 horses the naturally aspirated stock mill offers.
The car will compete in GT4 events, including the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Technically, the GPRM effort isn't factory backed, but the team says the effort "has the blessing of Toyota Great Britain." How could it not? You can check out the brief press release below below, and be sure to take a closer look at the machine in our gallery.
Scion FR-S may be getting supercharger kit from TRD
Mon, 05 Nov 2012The Scion FR-S was just named the Hottest Sport Compact at the 2012 SEMA Show, and Toyota Racing Development (TRD) is apparently looking to make this car a little hotter. According to Car and Driver, TRD is close to coming up with a supercharger to fit to the car's 2.0-liter flat-four engine in order to squeeze out a little more performance. Currently, the FR-S produces 200 horsepower, but there's no guessing how much a supercharger could improve this figure.
With Subaru seemingly hard at work on a new turbo engine for the BRZ and even possibly a BRZ STI model, it is only logical for a force-fed FR-S to be in the works as well. Surprisingly, though, the report says that supercharger would be unique to the FR-S, but since the Scion and Subaru BRZ are mechanically identical, it isn't clear how this would be accomplished. TRD already offers plenty of upgrades for the FR-S such as exhaust, brake and suspension kits, and it offers a handful of superchargers for other models including the 5.7-liter V8 used in the Toyota Tundra and the 4.0-liter V6 used in the Tacoma.
