Up for sale is my beautiful 2005 Scion XB. It has a gas saving 1.5L engine. It gets up to 35MPG. It's awesome during these high gas price times. The engine runs perfect & there are no check engine lights. The clutch feels great & does not slip. It also shifts really smooth & the transmission does not make any noises. The car is really clean & was freshly waxed. The interior is smoke & pet odor free. I always clean my car & kept it in excellent shape. It has 150,954 pampered highway miles. I worked 95 miles one way.
The car has 17" TSW wheels with new tires (less than 1,500 miles). I still drive the car so it might go up a little. It also has a K&N air intake & filter, so you will never need to buy an air filter again. It has brand new front brake pads & rotors as well. It also recently had the oil/filter changed. I always kept up on services & the car doesn't need anything but a new owner. I have the clean & clear title in hand.
The car comes equipped with power windows, locks & mirrors, cruise control, CD/AM/FM radio, keyless entry, traction control, ICE COLD A/C & very good HEAT! It also comes with the original floor mats all around, 2 original keys & the owners manuals.
Shipping is the buyers responsibility but I will help pickup at the nearest airport or train/bus station. Bidders with no feedback must contact me or risk having there bid retracted. This is a reserve auction with an option for a Buy it Now, contact me for more info. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.

Toyota GT86 convertible on 'indefinite hold'
Sat, 05 Oct 2013Bad news, sportscar fans. According to a new report from What Car?, Toyota has cancelled plans to produce a GT86 convertible, a model based on the FT-86 Open Concept that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. In truth, Toyota never actually confirmed it would produce the budget-friendly droptop in the first place, but rumors have been flying since last year and Toyota reportedly showed its embattled Scion dealers a FR-S version of the convertible in August. Presumably, this means that a lidless variant of the Subaru BRZ is not in the cards, either.
The reason for the move is unknown, though What Car? reports "one possible cause is weight; Toyota did say that further work would be required on rigidity before the convertible could be launched, and that could have added extra bulk that conflict with the regular GT86's ethos of light weight and agile handling." It doesn't look like that work will happen anytime soon, as "sources now say that the car has now been delayed indefinitely, with no place in Toyota's product plan in either 2014 or 2015." Still holding out hope? What Car? says the project could be "fast-tracked" if management decides it wants to reboot the program down the road.

Scion xB death sentence uncertain, minor updates announced
Mon, 10 Dec 2012The last time we discussed the Scion xB and xD, in April of this year, it was to announce a report that both models were being killed. The vice president of the brand had said, "We don't have plans for a direct xB or xD replacement," but no date was given for the termination. Turns out rumors of their deaths have been greatly exaggerated: as part of a Toyota press release that summarized feature and pricing changes for 2013, the Scion xB was included.
The 2013 hatchback (above) gets a new front bumper and lower fascia with LED lighting, and the rear end gets a black diffuser. Stingray Metallic and Elusive Blue Metallic exterior hues will disappear, Absolutely Red and Nautical Blue Metallic will take their places. Inside will be light bronze metallic and chrome accents, as well as new seat fabric and the availability of the BeSpoke Premium Audio. It increases in price by $500, the manual costing $16,800, the automatic $17,750.
The xD (inset) has been left off the list and the Scion website it still hawking the 2012 car. But 2013 xD pricing and new features were announced earlier this year, the MSRP rising by $125 to $16,500. New equipment and options includes smoked headlight covers, more airbags and a two-tone paint job.
Scion trying to build business case for FR-S convertible as Subaru bows out
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Hope may remain for a convertible version of the Scion FR-S, according to a report from Ward's Auto. You'll recall that rumors were swirling about the feasibility of a rear-drive Toyobaru convertible as early as October, and that back in November, Subaru - which makes the FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86 - essentially nixed the idea of an open-topped variant.
"We make the car, so if we don't make it, it can't happen," brand chief Yasuyuki Yoshinaga told Automotive News, according to Ward's, at the Tokyo Motor Show. "Our engineering department told me that losing the entire roof requires a complete redesign of the structure. It would need a big change."
Despite Yoshinaga-san's arguments against a droptop variant, Toyota is apparently still considering the model. Speaking to media at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, Scion's US vice president, Doug Murtha, hinted that the rear-drive droptop was in the works.
